2cc 0 Posted May 13, 2003 Daz, they look the biz m8. I always meant to refurb my speedlines, but the b4 & after photos are makin me think about it....'cept I know I'd hate cleaning them
Jim 2 Posted May 13, 2003 Dazzy.. those alloys look ace mate. Gonna be a pig to clean though :) I have to ask though... am I the only fan of original VR6 Speedlines?! Mint / refurbed ones look superb on the VR. Just lower the car about 30/40mm and it looks ace on the standard speedlines!
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 13, 2003 I like 'em too, Jim :) Think C's definately need to be lowered though. Think 16" Speedlines would look the biz! 8)
Robch 0 Posted May 13, 2003 With you on the Speedlines there jims16v. I was chatting to someone at inters on sunday that had a sherry pearl C. (I didn't get your name sorry!) He had some rufurbed speedlines on and had lowered it about 40mm-ish. It looked spot on! But must say, multispokes do suit the C down to the ground! 2cc 0 Posted May 14, 2003 Nice photo edit Jim. With u on the speedlines. Just got my new Konis today but don't know when I'll get round to putting them on & getting the wheels tarted up
Banana Man 0 Posted May 14, 2003 I've already said this in the inters thread but they have totaly tranformed the look of your motor dazzy onece you get the car sitting lower on the coilovers and lose the arch to rubber gap itwill look even better. If you are a fan of the speedlines you can get a set of compomotive MO's which are practically the same design as the speedlines in 16's or seventeen's I think they would look pretty damn fine haven't seen any on a corrado yet!!!! Who's going to be the first then??????????
