rmn 0 Posted September 10, 2004 Mark, the car gets damn hot in any weather, its black after all, ask dave b, he has never used his heated seats in his vr6
markmcie 0 Posted September 10, 2004 Mine can get a bit sticky when the sun comes out but noting unbareable. I dont think it helps with the car being black and the small cockpit. Id imagine with full black leather it would be pretty unbarebale. Air Con would be nice but then you may aswell bust a hole in your fuel tank. @ Geo - nice splits :)

rmn 0 Posted November 17, 2004 Now it has a rallye front mounted intercooler, total difference!!! i was only getting 5-6psi of boost, thought the charger was screwed, but the silencer box was now i am getting 11psi ish and the car is hugely differentm pulls so much better i needed to "modify" the front towing eye to accomodate the intake pipe for the intercooler, but with a litttle welding up it will be ine again. a nice FMIC is a really good investment for any g60, i am convinced anyway
rmn 0 Posted July 11, 2006 Well i though i would revive this thread, after an age of not doing anything to the car, you know yourself, work and other commitments i have just pulled the car back into the garage to get stuck into it. I have fitted a Weichers cage(road legal) and polybushed everything, redone the entire breaking system and suspension It now has some seam welded wishbones too. I have done away with the Rallye FMIC, i want to get a PRO Alloy one like Olly has in his G60. I am waiting on an exhaust and a few other bits. I need to get some Vibratechnics engine mounts and the like. At the moment the car si fairly stripped to get it ready for painting Since buying a 1.8 16v as a daily run around i have suddenly gotten the urge to get the G60 back on the road Here is a pic of the cage, i am sure i have some more somewhere and will post them up again
