I'm in Bingley so just over the hill from you. As for price, make me a sensible offer bearing in mind the tyres are very good as are the center caps (I've seen worse clear £40 on ebay). The sale will include bolts for rear and extended bolts/spacers for the front.

and some more as I'm on a roll, lol.

The tyres are 185/55/15 and all very good. The rims have 6J marked with the model - is this the width???? Not sure really thought about cost. I'll try to post up a picture of them on the car....if it doesn't work I can email people.

I've picked up some 17" alloys tonight that I may use whilst I have the steel wheels refurbished, however if I like the way it looks then the steel's are up for sale. I understand these are G60 wheels and are pretty rare. The back has been banded and the front is as original with spacers. All centres included and look pretty good, even though they really need a repaint. Tyres are all 5-6mm I'd guess, they looked like new 1500 miles ago. Just wondering at this stage if there'd be any interest in them?

I've tried searching, but can't find a sticky re spoiler workings, so thought I'd post a request for info. My spoiler works on the switch but never automatically. I've checked the wiring to the aftermarket head unit and the blue/white isn't connected. Assuming my spoiler problems were linked to the control unit, then I purchased one of ebay and swapped it tonight (brrrrrr) but it still doesn't work. Not sure what to swap out/check next. Is there anyway to test the control unit etc? Regards, Stuart.

1st question.....in my 1992 corrado, do I need to just remove the grills to fit new speakers or do the door cards need taking off? 2nd question.....as I don't want to fill my boot with subs, I was wondering if anyone's had any experience of the underseat type subs. And if so where was in mounted (I'm hoping there's some room under the dash). thanks in advance of responses.

My 92 valver has been unfortunate to have been vandalised by one of the previous owners who sprayed the vw badges red. I've already replaced the front and wondered if the rear badge is corrado specific or can it be found on other cars? I'm looking to expand my ebaying searches, unless someone has a chrome badge they want rid of.

Hertz ordered, should be fitting them at the weekend, thanks for the replies guys.

I really don't want to start with subs/wiring, hence the rca's and power cables left in my corrado were ripped out of car when I purchased it.

My corrado has some sony 3 way 13cm speakers in the front which are a little on the lame side so I'm considering replacing them with some components. I want to pay less than £100, gain loads bass (I know this won't happen without a sub but some must be better than others) and to run them off my head unit. What I'm looking for is recommendations for replacements. Seems to be a lot of people suggesting focal or hertz, however I'd consider any brand. Cheers people, Stuart.

So after charging the battery I flattened due to cracking, attached it to the car and typically it fires into life. I could do with a top 10 of items that fail to cause an intermittent (and hopefully not returning) problem. -

Fuel pump is priming and it has a spark so surely it's not the dizz. -
Hi all. Purchased my 1992 2L 16v on Saturday, driven 70 (fun filled) miles problem free and then after leaving it parked all day it wouldn't start and AA had to rescue me. The car was parked facing down a fairly steep hill. It cranks ok, has a spark, has fuel up to the fuel management head but not checked if its getting beyond. The AA chap seemed to suspect the fuel management head, but before I start randomly purchasing bits, I thought I'd check on here for any hints/tips. Ideally this car is going to be used as a daily driver, so it needs to be on the button so are there any parts, other than the obvious spark plugs that I should consider changing to avoid AA towing. Stuart.

Just like to say hello peeps. I've just purchased a 92 2.0 16v corrado, this been the 2nd car I have had in my name in 20 years of driving. I've always loved the shape of the corrado and now have my very own to mess with. Mechanically and body work, its a good one. Electrically, its gonna need a bit of sorting as not all the switch illumination works and the spoiler doesn't auto raise. It's also got heater issues (only works on 4 and then makes a racket). My first burning question relates to the heater control sliders, which don't work correctly and I've been lead to believe can be swapped for mk3 golf controls.....is this true and are there any links I need to know about. Regards peeps Stuart.
