  1. Seemingy people have a problem on me charging a paypal commision to cover the transaction costs in order as not to make a loss. Please buy the parts directly from the supplier if you don't mind paying more ( but you'll save on my commision...right?) http://corradoteilede.h765700.serverkom ... 5b3c5f87b3 thanks, niko
  2. I find it rather odd that you went through the trouble of boring out the block with oversized pistons, but don't find it necessary to get the ignition remapped accordingly? Its a bit like making a cake and forgetting the icing on top. I've fitted 83.5mm JE pistons to mine, and done about everything else possible for a NA vr6. The result is 220bhp http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradow ... /aug05.pdf for oh.. quite a few hundred squid...I got the same power increase when fitting my 2.2l turbo audi with a no name chip for next to nothing. So whether all this is "worth it"...no..but it certainly wakes up the engine.
  3. don't think we'll be getting the non ribbed ones...
  4. oh and if someone wants a matching set of seat recliner handles ( for want for a better word) you know the handles which one lifts to tip the front seat forwards to gain access to the back, and where the seatbelt slides past. Then I have one set of those too. They are for the NON recaro seats, hence I can't use them.. offers taken.
  5. my paypal details are the same as my mail addy, as in mailto:[email protected] if paying via paypal please add 4% for commissions. I don't mind doing this for free but don't want to make a loss either. This would make the total to be 66€ x 1.04= 68.64€ to be precise.
  6. I'm i right in think these are the ribbed ones. most certainly
  7. Ok there are six chrome pairs available as of now. Please email me at mailto:[email protected] the amount involved was mentioned on the last page. Payment can be done via Paypal or International bank transfer (they're free nowadays).
  8. yes, tested her out with the replacement driveshafts I had. She's working fine. Thanks for the input.
  9. like I said the supplier did not know himself if they are the chromed or brushed style.
  10. Are they like the ones on aircooled beetles? They fit MK1 golfs, are MK2/Early C pulls the same? - just looked on Egay and they're not the same design but I guess the ribbed ones 'Niels' can get will look a bit like these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mk1-Golf-Chrome-Door-Pulls-Beetle-GTI-Jetta-Scirocco_W0QQitemZ4634381634QQcategoryZ9889QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem No, they don't look remotely like that. They're the same as these ones. They are solid aluminium. Here is an opld link I had on my own server. But no one was interested in them back then when I offered them for sale. http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradow ... 20handles/
  11. yup. Might aswell, unless clavicula has any objections. will do.
  12. The snow has finally melted ( nearly) in this neck of the woods. So it was time to do some serious racing again. Actually, the event was a race lisence course, nothing too difficult in theory and the practical aspect was great fun. I knew the circuit quite well as compared to many of the other participants so was the fastest in the last "race" of the day. Unfortunately my driveshaft bolts had become lose and snapped in the last standing start when I was on pole position, hence the trailer. http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradow ... astaroakk/ Niko
  13. K, come friday there will be 6 sets available at my supplier. He wasn't sure if they are the brushed aluminium ones or the polished/chromed ones. They are the ribbed versions. 52€ plus 14€ shipping fronm germany for a pair. Not making a penny one that. Niko
  14. Last weekend I participated in a course to get a racing lisence here in funland. Great stuff indeed as I can now compete in most kinds of races. Also great fun to learn a track more or less inside out. as we did about 40-50 laps in total. Might I add I was the quickest by over a second in the ol girl as compared to the rest of the colourfull field  From new m3's to an alfa 75 So at the end of the day there was a final little race. Being on pole position was only fun for a second or too as somehow the driveshafts bolts had come loose and decided that had been enough. klonk klonk klonk and I was out. Anyways no big deal as I had a spare set which are already fitted. Just having to drive a couple of hundred miles with a trailer was a bit of a pian as it was just a little too narrow and therefore scratched my beloved bbs LM's..:-( Then I got to thinking as I had no forward motion left whatsoever and I have a Quaife lsd fitted. Then shouldn't the LSD have at least transferred some of the power to the other driveshaft? As it did not does it mean that the quaife is knackered too? Niko
  15. don't actually know, not my cup of tea either. But it supposed to have some montrous 400+hp blown engine.
  16. Nothing, I'm just not the show and shine type. Much prefer the track...but the snow has hardly melted round these parts as of yet.
  17. that was some time ago Lee. Drove it all last summer. http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradoweb/myconversion/
  18. yes I got them from Germany more than a year ago by now. I can find out if they have some left if you want.
  19. Never been much of a show and shine type. But when I was asked to bring my car to the biggest car show on this neck of the woods, all of two days before the event. ( some ferraris didn't turn up), then I made an exception. Had to clean her up from last years grime anyway. clicketh hereth Will add pics when I have the the time. Niko
  20. here's a video of an audi track day with me and my corrado. 67mega so only 4 fast connections. http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradow ... 090705.wmv my engine had a broken vsr vacume tube, so the flap wasn't opening robbing the engine of air/power in the high revs. still, had a nice battle with an rs2 engined s2.. Niko
  21. Used to have an rs2. http://www.locomail.com/niko/mycorradow ... ndrs22.jpg ( the corrado was in bits in the garage). The rs2 being a porsche tuned estate s2, had 385hp, (315hp standard)). Extremely rare and great performance on the straight line. But with its extra weight not so much fun around slow bends, no grip even with quattro. On a slow bendy circuit my 220hp corrado beats it, easily. But the audis are obviously well made and easy to tune. Have a an old s4 (like the silver one pictured which was mine before the rs2) with basically the same engine. Chipped it to an increase of 40hp for next to nothing. Try that with a normally aspirated engine...
  22. It seem UK dynoes are quite "optimistic" I must say. The average German dynoed car will not reach those figures. Must be the weather...
  23. its already there. Please remove it if it bothers you. Thought some may appreciate the pics...
