made a new dyno on monday. 216.5 bhp ( 219.5hp) at 6350rpms. Perhaps a few more had it gone to the rev limiter. :-) I just moved the steering wheel to the other side. Oh well back it goes again..:-) I like the idea of a naturally aspirated engine. Had a tuned and humongously lagged rs2 which was x times as fast on the straights but only after it woke up at 4k rpms. Not really my cup of tea. SC is ofcourse a bit different but with the 11:1 cr Je pistons and 268 schrick cams it won't work very well. The valve on the vsr/vgi vwm intake was kaput so I lost out on top end power. Still wouldn't have caught the audi big boys with 350-450hp.. Street tyres ( measly 205/40/17) with 33-35c temperatures don't mix well either.. Niko

took some pics of them just now outide. They do look kinda perverse especiially with the fk chrom grill ( didn't have any other ones handy). I'll paint the grill black completely or car colour when I have the time

yes, itsa beutlich ( ex treser) uses audi s2/cabrio fogs and indicators. Very well made in comparison to the other aftermarket stuff around, but costs a fortune new.

ok, so they are available in chrome, polished aluminium , eloxified blue and red. All in either the ribbed or no ribbed version. We're just rtrying out if there is interest on these parts first. if there is then maybe other part will be made. Niko

they'e for the newer interior, as in 93 upwards. There are plans to make them for the older interior also, aswell as other aluminium stuff like handbrake levers and the like. Time will tell it it'll materialize

Nope you need a 5mm spacer with the RS's. The RC's I had previously fitted fine. I have a couple of rs sets in germany if you're interested....as in dozens of them that can be made to individual spec. niko

Thanks all for the compliments. I'm well chuffed after finally getting them. Not into gold wheels usually either but these somehow don't look too corny. Yes the're very light, ebven lighter than the BBS rs's which are no heavyweights either. Niko

They've travelled the world. Made in Japan ( gold centres), been to Canada then Germany to be polished and then to Funland. Only mere 7x17 et 35 with 205/40/17 but prefer them over the 18". just clears the 330 AP's Cheers, Niko
