... And saw the same one again in Kingsbridge last night.

Green VR6 on a K plate in Totnes station car park yesterday.

Also got some GTechniq C4. I haven't tried it yet but will post some pics when I do.

Well I got one of these rubber drill tools but it seems to chew into the plastic of the trim as much as it does the adhesive tape and made a bit of a mess. So it seems a blade and some patience is the best method I have found so far to remove it.

This is my problem, it doesn't seem to matter how far I park away from a store, *completely alone* whenever I come back there is always some Bozo who has parked right next to my car. It's like the Corrado attracts them or something. I'm not too fussed about painting the strips, but the original finish is faded and grey. Is there a way of restoring it without applying a new finish? I tried some plastic trim restorer we had at home, it doesn't make much difference.

Thanks, that is excellent. I hadn't considered painting the strips. I wonder if it's worth looking at matching the body colour.

My VR6 has had these removed at some point in the past. While I agree that it looks cleaner without, I'm getting fed up with the frequency of picking up new door dings when I park the car out. So I have picked up these and wanted to see if there is any general advise about fitting them. Things I am wondering; -Best method to remove the old adhensive? (a bit wary of using something that will attack the plastic) -Any recommedadtions to restore the finish of the material? -Best product for attaching the strips to the car? Cheers :thumbleft:

If you look at the panel closely, with the knob off you can see where the cut outs on the knob rim should sit. Pull one of and have a look and you should see it.
-
I had this problem because I had put knobs 2 and three back on the wrong way round. Swapping them back fixed it.

Great, thanks for the suggestions. I'll PM if Stroud looks good for a pickup.

I need to leave my car for a couple of days somewhere near the M5 between Bristol and Gloucester. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas where might be good as an alternative to the services? Don't really want to pay and leave it at Gordano or similar..

A couple of the cars have livestreams of onboard cameras during the day: http://www.autogespot.com/gumball http://live.deadmau5.com/w/deadmau5/

I'll have one if this goes ahead.

Hello. I too used to have a VX a few years back - Not a turbot though..

Thanks everyone! If there are any local meets coming up I will definitely try to come along. Sean, I did see the car listed by somersetdub - it looks amazing but my budget doesn't stretch *quite* that far.

Thanks! I am looking for a VR6 really. I've only ever had inline 4 pots in my car history and want to change that :)

I was in Bergen this week and on a couple of days walked past this car outside "sushi home" I'm sure I saw someone here that lived in town..?

Hi I have been lurking for a few weeks so thought I has better get my first couple of posts out of the way. Currently I'm in a position where I don't need to drive every day and my mileage is fairly low (mostly local journeys and some trips to the airports) so I am looking at a Corrodo as a replacement "second" car to my wife's daily driver. Thanks for all the useful advice on the forum so far! Hopefully I will buy one and contribute something..
