I make forged, tempered steel striker arm kits for either a driver's side or passenger side exterior door handle...for any B3 VW Passat handle. This striker arm kit, as well as my Corrado door handle repair kits I currently have listed on eBay, will never break like the factory cast, pot-metal striker arms. This is the correct way to modify a B3 Passat handle...not by cutting pieces and using JB Weld to try and hold it together, which is total garbage. I guarantee my parts never to break under door opening use.
