  3. Dub Envy said: Although he's now gone down the "no replacement for displacement" route and the last time I saw the mini he was in the process of fitting a V8 in it. His aim was 10second quater miles. Street legal. I've heard about this Mini, The V8 is out of a dodge Viper engine I believe. If it is I've heard they got some technical guy to come and calculate the top speed, he took into account downforce, weight, wheel and tire size, gear ratio and loads of other stuff. I heard it came out at something like 200MPH. Don't think I want to do that speed in a Mini :D
  4. Has to be: Dropping it on coilovers Reiger front grill

  7. Looking good mate, I'm in the process of getting my 16v turbo'd. In the same boat I'm gunna have to run mine in too as I have had all the bottom end re-built with low comp pistons, new turbo etc etc. Shud be fun when run in thou.
  8. Cheers fellas, Gonna look into some kind of air duct, but will probably end up just cuttin out area between slats. The work is being carried out by Tunningwerkes, will post pics when finished.
  9. Does anyone if there is a difference between 16v and G60 front bumpers. I've nearly finished my Turbo conversion and need a better air feed to the intercooler. The 16v front bumper vent on the right (looking at it face on) hand side is false can you buy the vents with the gaps between the slats or is it a case of cutting them out?? Cheers Alex
  10. Just wondering what single wipers everyone use?... I've seen them for £115 + £10 postage, is this the average price. Are they easy to fit.... Hassle free once fitted? Cheers in advance.
  11. Looks nice mate.... What colour is it, It looks purple/pinky, but maybe its just the light. Either way looks nice.
  12. Can't you buy sub frames direct from Recaro, without having to buy thhe seats aswell. I'll have a look on the Recao website to see what it says. Cheers mate
  13. The only 16v air filter that is available is a Stroeve Motorsport one, which uses the top part of the air box which has all the sensors on it. That then connects to a plate which is made out of aircraft alluminium and then the cone filter fits to the underside of that. They are available from Eurotek (020 8681 0208). They cost about £120 which is quite expensive, but does the job.
  14. A20 Lee how much did you pay for yours. I've beeen quoted between £800-£1000. Then i've got to get them leathered to my specification, plus the rest of the interior. "OUCH"
  15. I'm exactly the same. My car is nearly finished having the turbo conversion completed and I said to myself that I would stop there, then I decide that I want new Recaro speeds and a custom leather interior. I think that will definaely be it!! But come show season next year I'm sure I will see something else I want.
  16. Does anyone know how ifficult it woul be to fit new 911 dials into a corrado. Obviously would have to cut dash about. Would you have to make up a new loom for the connectors, or anything else Just an idea floating around in my head.
  17. Thanks alot for the advice Suppose I better get saving, Definately want the best finish, otherwse I will regret it if it looks poney. Cheers
  18. How much woud it cost to get rear seats, centre arm rest and front and rear door cards leathered? I want to get black and silver leather Konigs and would like to match the rest of the interior to them. Is it worth using MJ interiors or is their any other companies that are just as good but cheaper. I live in South London so anywhere a bit closer to me would be good, but if the price is right I would travel. Cheers
  19. Looking SWEET mate! Leather really suits the colour of your car. Can't wait to see it at the shows next year.
  20. Nah, bought it 2 years ago Satin silver, black cloth interior, 72k on the clock
  21. Yeah I got my Silver 16v Corrado there. Paid top money for it, but couldn't resist. Only had one problem but got sorted quickly and hassle free. I left the deposit they did a service and new MOT, pick it up a week later.
  22. Even though it is a bit extreme, you still have to give him the credit for the amount of hard work and money that has been put into the project. You can always rely on the Europeans coming up with some unique designs.
  23. Cheers for the quick response. Alex
  24. Just a quick question, Would a 94' Corradom steering wheel fit a 91' Corrado. Cheers Alex
