Haarkon started following Clutch master cylinder for VR6, Corrado VR6 Storm for sale and Corrado valuation
-
Hi all, I need to sell the Corrado and since I bought it off a member 6 years ago I thought I’d try to sell her on to another before going the eBay route. Its a 95 plate green storm with 6 previous owners and has done 161751 miles (this will go up a little depending on if/when she sells). The good bits: had a respray Christmas 2014/2015 Wax oil underside and box sections 2015 Cylinder head rebuild, clutch, timing chains 2016 at stealth racing Starter motor 2016 at vw specialist Longlife stainless steel exhaust 2017 (lifetime warranty which stays with the car) ecu remap 2017 at stealth racing Mk4 rear brake conversion 2017 at stealth racing Alternator 2017 at vw speacialist Radiator 2018 at stealth racing Pro race 16” wheels and Falken ze310 tyres 2019 Rear axle bushes 2019 stealth racing Water pump 2019 local garage New battery 2020 Sunroof, rear spoiler, windows etc all work fine. Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser With certificate Two keys and two alarm fobs Mot till 25.06.2021 Serviced every year in my ownership but only partial before that. Bad bits: Theres a bit of rust starting to come through at the bottom of o/s/f wing by the drivers door, as pictured. Rust free other than that. Abs light comes on intermittently but doesn’t record a fault, doesn’t seem to be a reason and doesn’t always come on. If it does and you turn the ignition off and on it stays off again. Theres four advisories on the mot as pictured. He also said the rear right brake calliper and pad needed cleaning up (it’s been sat a while due to lockdown) Obviously it’s 25 years old so isn’t pristine but is in good condition. I’ve got receipts for all the work done along with receipts for the smaller jobs which I’ve not bothered listing. I’m not sure what she’s worth but I’m looking for £5500. I am open to offers though as I need her gone. Located in Birmingham Happy for anyone to come and have a look but would have to be a weekend. Or could bring her round if fairly local. Any questions or if I’ve missed off something obvious please let me know. Thanks Chris

Hi all, Due to change in circumstances I’ll be listing my Corrado soon but have no idea what she’s worth. With Corrado’s currently for sale from £1000 to £10000 I would appreciate some opinions. She’s a green storm currently on 147000, mot till July with no advisories. Bought off a forum member about 3 1/2 years ago and since then I’ve had the following done: Respray approx 3 years ago Professionally wax oiled 9/15 Engine rebuild/clutch/timing chain (stealth racing) 6/16 Mk4 rear brake upgrade and new front callipers (stealth racing) 3/17 Longlife stainless steel exhaust (oval tip and sounds close to original) 4/17 Service and remap (stealth racing) 12/17 It’s also had new starter motor and alternator in last couple of years 4 uniroyal rainsport 3’s (still nearly new) Only bad points are: Drivers seat bolster wear Heater gets warm enough to demist/defrost but not really hot (never used car in winter so didn’t bother me) As I say any advice on pricing would be appreciated Thanks Chris Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone know where i might be able to get a clutch master cylinder for a VR6 Storm, its the one with the ball end not the loop and has the inlet pipe pointed directly up and the outlet at 45° from that, looking from the rear. I have tried two VW specialist garages and a VW specialist parts shop and non have been able to source one. Failing finding a new replacement would anyone know of a company which reconditions old master cylinders. Appreciate any help on this. Thanks
