Just putting feelers out there folks, the G-lader will be for sale. Unfortunately my wedding, honeymoon and funding my pilots license need extra funds. It's near mint, cloth interior, has had charger serviced by Jabba when I bought it 2 years ago along with cam belt, full stainless supersprint exhaust and eibach 20mm lowering springs just to make it look and handle better have got original springs. Have got every MOT since 94 to prove mileage and have all log/service books etc etc. Been garaged its whole life, owned for the majority of its life by a lovely old chap named Howard who I bought it off and it was also garaged. I've serviced it fully myself since having it coolant change oil change plugs K&N filter and I'm going to do the brakes soon, as I've bought some braided hoses so I will for them on. I've fitted new engine sound deadening. All electrics work perfectly no faults anywhere including sunroof tilt and slide. No rust. The only downside is the rubber roof trims are cracking. I will buy some off Karmanski when the clips become available so that may well be sorted too. If anyone wants to in a way reserve it or ask any questions, fire away. Would ideally like it to go to someone who will look after her and not use as a daily. It is a regrettable sale. Will probably put it up for about 11kONO what do you guys think? When the latest TV ad came out a couple of months ago showing the older generations of VW I complained straight away because I'm sad. Saying about they always ignore the Rado. I got a call the next week from a lad saying we'll pass it on to the marketing department. Never heard anything back.... ☹️

Exactly what I used or get some "panel wipe" solvent based rather than water based I used bodyshop adhesive remover and got all mine off with half a litre and took maybe 2hrs tops. Just keep wiping it on and it goes soft and just falls off when scraping. Get proper bodyshop trade chemicals rather than marketed halfords rubbish. Forget thinners and white spirit. Thinners has acetone in it normally and will start to take the paint off and you'll be there all day with white spirit

rob is right - it's the blue one for water temp - you get a fast idle when it's cold and once a little warm idles normally, think they're still available from VW. Just remember to get the old O-Ring out when you change it and a smear of silicone grease on the new one and you'll be fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
