  1. Stayed in lake Garda a few years did like you drove over great trip and enjoyed driving through the tunnels they filmed James Bond in
  2. Came with the car my mate bought them a while ago God knows how much they are worth these days
  3. Next job today was to sort out my fogs as I had a stone hit mine and destroy it so managed to pick some up off a forum member so fitted it and it would not work at all so tried another bulb still nothing so thought I would see if the bulb was getting any power and it was getting nothing  cleaned everything and still nothing so plugged in the original fog light and it worked  so matched that with the new fog light
  4. If it's about cars I don't care who does it and it's funny too but Chris Harris could do the driving as that's what he can do plus he likes to mess about too. But like I said if it's about cars I will watch it
  5. A bit frustrating but £40 got me sorted So now all fits So nice £60 oil change ish lol
  6. Well set about doing the oil change yesterday to drop the oil filter out to find out my vw filter did not fit for some reason my engine has this type of filter housing Looking at it I am sure this is wrong and is this from a later vr6 engine ? I noticed a crack in the cage anyway so I thought I best check at vw what my engine should have I thought mine should have had this style fitted Got lucky vw was showing 1 available so it came today but noticed on collecting it the bolt that goes into the bottom is taller so stuck that on order too £12 for a bolt wtf
  7. Currently out in it at the mo mate well loads better than it was with the dead shockers lol
  8. Thanks Ian could not have done it without your help mate thank you
  9. Stock caps Others versions Seems loads better time for a test drive
  10. Little update I thought as I had new suspension and bushes ready to go on I might as well strip the old lot out to see how bad or good they are. Once stripped it was clear to see all the shock absorbers are dead and had been for some time as when compressed even a small amount I got this i.e completely dead Fronts Rear And thanks to a forum member sorted out some h&r lowering springs but upon fitting the fronts up the spring caps looked way too small but I though will bolt it up and see but nope they would not work. So after a search and help off this site have gone for these oe part They look loads wider and a tiny bit taller I am hoping this will sort it plus while I was in TPS picked up a genuine oil filter and sump plug and washer So my job tomorrow is get the front end done
  11. Ended up ordering some from TPS so will see what comes
  12. looking online i think its the 1H0412341 versions i need
  13. I need the wider version mine are way too small
  14. Hi I have just lowered my 94/95 vr6 and when putting my front springs on noticed the spring plate looked too small so are the early ones wider if so anyone got any spare as these are not wide enough. These are the plates that go directly on top of the spring
