  1. Thanks. The rod has come off with the door pin, so I'm unable to screw it back on. I'll take the door card off and investigate further at some point.
  2. I appreciate there can be many issues with the locking on Corrados, however just wondered if anyone else has had these issues? When I bought my Corrado, the central locking worked from the passenger side, but not the drivers side. I thought this was probably a solenoid...however before I got around to investigating... my locking completely stopped working on the drivers side (not even the key would twist). In a panick, I tried pushing down the lock Knob. When I then pulled it back up, it came completely out of the door. The knob now doesn't go up and down, but the central locking it working as good as new. Is this a common problem? This was about 3 weeks ago, and the locking has worked everyday since.

  4. Hello!! I bought my 1st ever Corrado last month, and am thoroughly enjoying it! It's a 1993 VR6 which I'm using as my everyday car. It almost seems to good for this, but I have to say, I'm loving how many people turn to look at her as I drive past! I live in St.Austell, Cornwall, and have seen a few Corrado's around the area in the last month or two... a red G60 and a (what i believe to be) a VR6 - their registration ending 'DEW'. It would be great to have a Corrado meet if anyone else is in the area? Tom
  5. My much loved VW Golf Match, 1.6 Petrol. I have owned the car for almost 3 years, and it has never let me down. It has been a great vehicle which has coped well with everyday use, both in town and on motorways, and has been cheap to run. MOT til June 2016. No advisories. 118,400 miles. Recently had new Goodyear tyres. Car has been SORNed due to new tax laws. 4 owners from new. Alloy wheels, 2 remote keys, remote central locking, A/C, Electric windows and mirrors, PAS, ABS. AM/FM radio/CD player, computer, tool kit, original front rubber mats. Everything about the car works as it should! Selling due to upgrading to a car I have always wanted. Bodywork has some slight age related marks. Interior is in good condition. Engine is faultless. Starts first time every time! This is a great car, which I hope someone else can appreciate and enjoy. Located in Cornwall Viewing welcome - call or text Tom on 07411127416 I work Mon- Fri, but can be available for viewing evenings and weekends.

  7. I am going to look at a 1993 VR6 on Saturday. I have done a lot of research into the cars, but the best people to ask are obviously those that own them themselves! Can you please advise me on anything to look out for when buying a VR6...is there anything specific i need to be aware of? also...Insurance. I have been given a classic car quote, are any of you insured with a classic policy? are there specifications that you need to fit into to qualify for Classic? Cheers in advance, TP
