Morning All
Long time lurker but also long time owner - just starting my 22nd year with my Oettinger 16v - but I am also 100% mechanically inept, so can I ask for some help?
I have looked through the archive about loose/sloppy gear changes but can't see anything specifically about my question.
As far as I can see I think I'm either missing a spring, or the one I still have is broken.
There seems to be some debris in the tray underneath the gear lever but I haven't been able to get it out yet.
Looks like there might be a gold/yellow coloured bit of a washer/circlip - does that give you any pointers?
The pictures possibly explain what I'm on about better than I can explain.
The bottom line I guess is, does it look like something has gone a bit screwy, and if so, any ideas on what I need to ask for to fix it?
Any help greatly appreciated.
