Turns out it was the master cylinder thanks A lot for your help guys

Going to check the return spring first if it's not then going to try the fluid but reading vw_owner_85 thread think it's same problem so looks like master cylinder :( but will keep you posted thanks for the help guys

Having an issue with my clutch sticking down only seems to stick down when crawling in 1st gear but if I pull it back up its fine doesn't stick any other time don't slip or have any other issues any ideas

hi guys got 17 inch wheels on my car running 205/40/17's looking to drop it by 40mm all round is it likely to catch anywhere or should I be ok plus looking at buying some apex's springs anyone got any feedback what there like or suggestions for good springs but don't want to spend to much thanks

Hi guys been getting oil coming from my crank case breather on my 1.8 16v I know I should get some but getting excess amounts seems to be more when I put my foot down I would normally suspect worn rings but engine seems to sweet to be that any other ideas ?

Hi guys on my 1.8 16v got a wire next to the air box with a spade connector on when the car is turned off and you earth the wire it puts the fan on and when cars on and you earth it doesn't do anything guessing it should go to a temp sensor or something cant be far from the air box because the wire is only short any idea what it goes to and where it is thanks

Hi just picked up my first vw corrado it's a 1990 1.8 16v on the drive back everything seemed fine but near home I put my foot down looked in the rear view mirror and there was lots white smoke got the car home and there was oil underneath the car so pop the bonnet to find it was coming from the air box so popped the top off and the air box is full of oil car also seems to be running hot any ideas where the oil is coming from or how it's got there thanks
