  1. Awesome, Exactly what I was looking for, And thanks. Wish I had a writeup like that when I went Z shopping...
  2. So, I'm going to be looking at a 1990 VW Corrado G60 tommorow, has 300k miles, but in the cars defense the guy who has it got it from a friend and he drove it and from his description said is seemed OK minus needing a steering rack for sure, i be heard they are a pain to replace, was wondering how much it'd cost a shop to do it for me? Other than that everything else seemed to actually be good from what he said, wondering what I should be looking out for especially with such high miles other than the normal "car check procedures" you'd normally do when checking a car out. Has sent in front fender nothing too bad though. Paint is a bit discolored from what it seems in some spots but isn't peeling. The guy would be willing to sell it to me for 1200$, runs and drives, good interior minus drivers seat, and non working OEM radio, not a big deal anyway, the miles it has are mostly highway miles. If you care to read a bit or yeah a lot, Then here's a bit about where I'm moving from now as far as the community and stuff goes Would be my first Euro car and actually my first Non-Nissan car, I'm a big Nissan guy, have had an '03 Frontier that saved me and my buddies lives and left us with just bruises, an 86 Nissan 720 4x4 and recently sold my beloved '93 300ZX 2+2 that did me real well and reliably for a solid year till I moved and didnt have a garage to do work on her at if things went south so I parted with it. If the Euro/VW community is anything like the Z & Datsun community I've taken part of, then I'm absolutely looking forward to being involved, think it'll be a good for some change I'm coming from having a '93 Nissan 300Z, figured I'd go and see how the VW/Euro world does me, loved the Z32 world and community and the car was amazing and fast but I needed something I could do engine work to without being forced to pull the engine 80% of the time, I know a ton about 300's and they are a total pain to work on (but worth it if you have the time or money), and had electrical issues 90% of which were harness corrosion issues or stupid previous owners hack jobs. Was wondering how different the Corrado and VW world may be and what I should be looking out for. Please no jdm hate it more of Nissan Z series if there's anyone who dislikes them lol. For the record I've never owner nor will I own a Honda
