Never seen led rear lights, sounds cool, be interested to see a night time picture. Its always good to see another VR having money well spent on it. I've been taking lots of pictures as I replace and improve parts, in part to create more history for the car in the hope it's value is going to increase over the coming years. Keep us up to date as things change!

Looks lovely!!! Not a massive fan of those rear lights, but that's only my opinion. Any plans for it?

Thanks for all the welcomes and positive comments, I'm really happy with what a clean example I seem to have bought, I can't find more the three stones chips and two scratches and the wheels must have had a refurb because they are spotless!!

Thanks for the positive comments, yes that's the original plate, kinda hope it might be worth a few quid. Plans for the car are to replace old and worn parts and mend it when it breaks. I need to pick some nice wheels as well.

My Corrado will never be up to the standard of the ones I've seen on here but this is my thread for Lisa the Corrado (because of the reg being L154) and I hope you like her... Please excuse any mistakes as some of this was copy and pasted from another forum, The day I got home, I just gave her a quick hoover inside, cleaned the wheels and removed the eyebrow shown in this picture Today I set about a proper clean of the inside and made a start on the engine bay. Then I started removing parts I wanted to replace and bring back to life. Front grill removed to clean and paint the faded silver VW badge satin black. Plate removed to replace with new. I then removed the rear badge to paint black (not shown) and the rear plate, to again replace with new. I then swapped the crappy old wipers for modern bendy type ones and used a hairdryer to heat up and get some old logos from the rear windows. New plate and black badge black badge on next to the new plate Donated by a mate for free, win!! Removed the rear wiper today and bunged up the hole And replaced a smashed door mirror glass Continuing on from the above that I did first thing, my new rear lights turned up mid morning, so cleaned, polished and fitted! They turned up a bit dull and faded, did one for comparison to start Old ones which the previous owner tried to tint red vs new Fitted, but picture doesn't do them justice Lots of detailed cleaning to follow, and maybe a set of wheels... God I love this car!

Love the yellow fogs on your old one, I seem to remember seeing it for sale and wanting it!!

Hello all, my name is James, I've just stepped back into Corrado ownership after 10 years of owning my first one, a white G60 which I bought like this and didn't have the funds to do much with apart from get the charger reconditioned by Jabbasport A few days ago I was fortunate enough to find this VR which has done 119k at the reasonable price of £3300 These are pictures from the day I got her home, but I've made a few subtle changes since which I will share on another thread Plan is to keep her pretty standard and just make her as good as she can be by replacing bits as I go. Hope you all like, James.
