  3. Front wing in alright condition. Will need painting. It's been welded and repaired on the front. Don't want anything for it but it needs going ASAP or it'll go to the tip as its in the way! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Hi everyone. I recently picked up a corrado which had been used as a donor car for something else. Originally I wanted to make it diesel so I bought a golf mk3 td donor car. But after a bit of umming and ahhing I decided against it. I've been offered a 1.8t AGU out of an old Audi A3 at a good price so going for that. Couple of questions. At the moment the engine has an auto box on it. Is it just a straight forward swap to a manual box set up? As I've heard that I might have a problem with the crank?? As the corrado had no pedals when I got it, I took them out of the mk3 for the td conversion. Would these pedals be okay? Or would I need to get the ones for an Audi/mk4 golf or would an aftermarket pedal box be a good alternative? Has anyone done this conversion before that came across any problems that I'd need to know? If anyone has an advice/suggestions that'd be great. Cheers :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hey everyone. New to corrados but always liked them. I drive a 2.0 Bora daily and picked this up as a project. It started life as a 1.8 16v but it was used as a donor car for someone I knows mk2 Golf. So it's minus an engine, gearbox and pedals. But it was free, so bonus! Gunna get myself a mk3 as a donor so while I save up for that I'm gunna work on bits and pieces that I can do until then. Started stripping it down and discovered it's had a bit of a front end shunt. The bumper is obviously second hand as it used to be black (and it's been painted really badly) and the metalwork is bent right out of shape. I'm a welder/fabricator by trade in a car body shop so I've got the front panel and crash bar at work at the moment straightening it all out and repairing where necessary. I'll post more as and when. Cheers, Sam [emoji3]
