Update... removed my mylee hubs and rotors and fitted febi ones all fits fine now however wondered if anyone knows why the spines change (widen) halfway down the hub so don't seem to be able to push my cv joint all the way in (see pic)

Wondering if someone can help me out. I am having a problem with my front hub setup, and I have no idea what to do. The abs ring is pressing against the sensor and also the backing plate. The only thing I can think is it too big. It is a meyle one and came altogether as a set and was supposed to be for a vr6 corrado. Can anyone possibly measure the distance shown in the pic for me?
Cheers

Hi, its definately not a problem with the shields they are fine, it's down to how my hubs are fitting in the bearing

I think what has happened is I have pushed my hub too far so it is too close to the knuckle. The rotar also rubs against the sensor as well as the shield. I assumed you pushed it in until it stopped, but maybe not? Can anyone advise me on this?

Thanks just checked and it looks like the part that is pressing against the rotor is the wrong side of it, but sure how that has happened it some adjustment is needed

Has anyone fitted any of the new front brake shields yet?. I'm having an issue where one end is pressing againt the abs rotor(see pic) the rotor can't go any further in, so is it just a case of bending the shields or shimming them?. It's the same on both uprights. Cheers

Looking to do some welding myself, can anyone recommend one they use? I don't want to spend too much but do want one that will do a half decent job and with so many to choose from just don't know which to choose. Cheers

Good news then, I don't have to get new cv joints, I have a dremel so I'll see about grinding the spline a bit like you did. Cheers for reply
