Hello all, I am new to the site today. Been driving VW's for the last 30 years, everything from a 1970 Marathon Beetle, Polo, Golf MK2, & MK4 GTI, Passat's, just about everything really, just one missing, and that's a Corrado, has to be a VR6 though. Been thinking about one for the last couple of years, and now the kids are independent I just got to get it out of my system! So, I'm going to start looking some time soon, and the Passat estate is going to have to go! Any tips on what to look for would be much appreciated, or is it the normal VW virtues and faults like failed electric windows, door locks, soggy carpets and the like?
