  1. ive got the inpros which were more than fk's but fit is awful and they staem up all the time are fks better is it essential to cut the wires on these? also whats the consensus on the fk angel eyes any way to change them to rhd?

I've got inpro rear lights and mine have also steamed up and are full of dirt. It's as if the lens aren't sealed properly, so when it rains or you wash your car water gets into the light units. There's even a dead fly wedged in one! I'm on the look out for some smoke m3 fk types at inters next week. Hopefully these will be better quality.

  2. Have to agree, an excellent write up Ant.

Another thing to mention is instead of removing the three 13mm bolts for the balljoint/wishbone, you can remove the 17mm nut and bolt that 'pinch' the bearing carrier around the top part of the balljoint. Then use a bar to push the balljoint out of the bottom of the bearing carrier. This leaves the balljoint attached to the wishbone. When everything is back together the geometry should be the same as when you started. Saving the cost of having it rechecked.(If it was ok before you started!)

Also take care not to pull the drive shaft out of the inner cv joint whilst knocking the outer one off! This can require complete drive shaft removal to line up inner joint and rebuild, and can be annoying :x

  3. I've just had my roof retrimmed, in black. I took the roof lining out myself, to save on cost. It only cost £80. It looks standard apart from being black. The thing with roof lining retrimming is it's a job for the pro's, and not the sort of thing that most people can do themselves.

  4. I have a brand spanking new ISV ( 037906457D ) for sale for £100. You are welcome to try it first but you will have to travel to me. I live in the cambridge/peterborough area. I'm not sure if this is the same part number as what you are looking for. But like i say, it is brand new and anyone is welcome to try it to see if it rectify's their fault.

  5. I'm a technician at a main dealer ( not saying which one  ) but i have to say that most people that work in our dealer don't have alot of product knowledge. The only thing that dealers are intrested in is money ! I priced up an exhaust the other day for a 95 mk3 16v, the customer was quoted £481 all inclusive. He was an old man and agreed to this price. This was only cat back ! I had a power flow exhaust fitted to my corrado ( down pipe back ) and this only cost £300, and has lifetime warranty. The service manager didn't even batter an eyelid when taking the old mans money.

  6. I spoke to venom today, they said that they should be getting some crystal clear type headlights, but they have been waiting for over 6 months already and they still don't know when any will be available. They also said that the headlights would probably only be in LHD beam pattern for a start. Keep a eye on their website for more info.

  7. I fitted a set of air horns for a laugh, and removed the old horns completely. The air flow to the rad now makes my engine run at 90 (coolant), where as before it always run at 100 or above. It suprised me what a difference it made. (I fitted the air horns under the n/s head light, well out of the way of the rad)

  8. I just had a quick look at venoms website (it worked fine for me), and it says "Corrado headlights coming soon!"

I assume these will be modified / non standard looking. Like i said before, well overdue.

  9. whats the headlights venom are beginning out, anyone know ???

Where have you heard about lights that venom are bringing out? Its a long time overdue if you ask me :!:
