Sorry for the slackness with updating this, i havent had a pc, but now got it back and braodband:D A bit of an update, my mate has been working away for the last couple of weeks, so he will travel to fit :) if he can get a few jobs around the same area. He can do stitched designs, but he said they are expensive, and take him a while to do, think its one of those jobs he does but doesnt like doin hehe Im meeting him later this week, to discuss things im more detail - to be honest i didnt think there would be this much interest!!! i'll have pics then too. 1 question are all corrado interiors the same?? i know the door cards are different between late and old, and you get 'hump' and non hump rears, are there ay other differences?

I did ask about alcantara and he said that would be the same price, but not sure if he meant all alcantara or 1/2 ...... i'll find out yep, i'll ask him for some pics and get them posted

He's based in Colchester, but i know he travels around fitting leather, not sure how far he goes but he was doing a job in birminham the other week. there is always the optin of sending your seats down - cost would be kept as cheap as possible as i work in haulage, but no seats in a carrado might be a bit of a bugger!!!

think im gonna go for a dark red leather :) is it the campagins that were blue with red leather , very nice :D

i have seen a mk4 he did and i thought it came out of the factory with leather, there was no baggyness , ruffles or ripples in the leather - hope that makes sense lol when i have seen cheap leather the material never seems to fit right, but these looked good

Is any one interested in a leather retrim?? just gauging reaction/interest because if i can get a few people interested i think i can get it done for £895 - Which sounds like a good price to me considering the price of secondhand leather, but im not sure how much a re-trim normally cost, so it might not be that good a deal!! the deal s my friend has started his own business and is trying to get his name out there, he has been retrmming cars for about 8 years with the same firm who specialised in doing after market leather for Mercedes and BMW. im seeing at the weekend so i'll ask him if thers any questions (MODS - sorry didnt know where to put this as its not actually for sale)

I think any car paint supplier should have a plethora of folders full of colour chips for you to look through, when i had to get some paint there were loads of folders on the counter

I agree, the thing is im not even looking to change my car, infact im totally happy with it, but the price of the Storm is not much more than a regular VR so its one of those bargains that dont come along that often - but its green

I spent ages finding my Corrado, and have spent the last few years changing my 16v to just how i want it , and its nearly there just need a bit of leather and a 4branch!! its got a 170bhp Gti enginneering 2.0 G60 brakes Koni's ZW1's audio scape door pods+nice sounds, sound stream, Nakamichi, id etc aqua blue ( i think) plus other stuff its great to drive and i realy like and wouldnt get rid of it however, I have been offered one of my friends very honest Stroms at a reasonable price!!!! which i would of jumped at but its green :( which i dont like that much, but its a storm!! and a VR!!! But is there any point in selling a car that you really like for a car which would be perfect but for the colour hmmm

Ok here goes , I have a 1.8 that’s been bored out to 2.0 and when I got the engine I also got a ‘modified’ ECU which I lost so never fitted, but I found it yesterday :) . Im sure I read somewhere that its not possible to modify the ECU on the 1.8s….. Is it possible to modify the ECU on a 1.8 16v??? And is it possible to run a bored out 1.8 with a 2.016v ecu ,or are they the same ECU anyway????

Kev - Its a 1.8 16v Supercharged - Just checked the jack and its got the yellow sticker and a pic of a blue corrado on it
