cheers for the welcome :) yeah i did consider this but the guy i bought the car off was a complete numpty and didnt have a clue what day it was let alone what he actualy had. He had been quoted silly amounts of dosh by various "specialists" to fit the charger and while he was considering what to do the car had run out of mot and tax so he just wanted shot of it.

the vw part number is 191 145 755 SWM2 so im guessing its for the mk2 golf g60 rather than the corrado ?

this metal plate is it black with some rivety things in it? ans is about an inch behind the main drive pulley ? rsr? it has a vw part number on it

cheers guys, ive pulled the mess of a charger off today :( shame coz it was a stage 4 brm one :( i found metal fragments in the pipe leading to the intercooler, i just need to get the cooler off. i take it i have to remove the bumper to get to it ? how do i tell if my cars been chipped and pullied ? ahh yeah just another quicky, on the new charger it has a metal adaptor type thingy on the outlet to the intercooler that the charger i took off didnt have ?!?!?!? what's that for? sorry about all the questions guys

Im a bit new to the world of chargers, Ive bought a g60 rado with a blown charger, no big deal as it came with another charger. My question is will the charger have thrown any bits through the intercooler and into the engine?

how do i get the glass off the headlights so i can paint the non reflector part inside?

what model passats? i guess that will delock them? what do i do about some form of door lock? excuse the vaugeness golfs and beetles i can do Corrados are a bit new to me

is there no way they can be repaired coz they are bloody expensive :( its me of the orange mk1 fame not sure yet, bit of lowering, rims, fix the charger n the bloody door handles :)

help guys ive just bought a g60 corrado and the door handles are knackered they seem to have lost the springiness in them and dont open the doors any ideas?
