    If you think about it - the person that you bought the car from would have been able to get more money for the car if he had fitted the "new" charger before selling it !! The fact that he hasn't done this would suggest that he knows more about any potential damage than he has told you.

    yeah i did consider this but the guy i bought the car off was a complete numpty and didnt have a clue what day it was let alone what he actualy had. He had been quoted silly amounts of dosh by various "specialists" to fit the charger and while he was considering what to do the car had run out of mot and tax so he just wanted shot of it.

    cheers guys, ive pulled the mess of a charger off today :(

    shame coz it was a stage 4 brm one :(

     

    i found metal fragments in the pipe leading to the intercooler, i just need to get the cooler off.

    i take it i have to remove the bumper to get to it ?

     

    how do i tell if my cars been chipped and pullied ?

     

    ahh yeah just another quicky, on the new charger it has a metal adaptor type thingy on the outlet to the intercooler that the charger i took off didnt have ?!?!?!? what's that for?

    Im a bit new to the world of chargers, Ive bought a g60 rado with a blown charger, no big deal as it came with another charger.

     

    My question is will the charger have thrown any bits through the intercooler and into the engine?
