Does anyone know if a 1H2959565 Switch is the same as a 535959565 mirror switch? They look vert similar for the photos i have seen on ebay? Will it fit a Corrado?
-
Hi what year was the ibiza you took the sunroof from?
-
Thanks you for that info I will get a searching! Does anyone know how you take apart a wing mirror? I know how they come off from the car but not how you get in them to look at the motor inside. Just that my passenger one apparently does not have wiring in it but i have a spare wire that either needs spraying the same colour as the car or just needs the motor and wire swapping over?

Hi did you find a way of taking apart a wing mirror as I have to similar? I have noticed a small screw in mind, im guessing you have to take that out?

Hi I have a VR6 with a broken sun roof. I knew the slide didn't work when I purchased it but the tilt broke the 1st time I used it, was fine on the road test! The part has snapped that drags the slider along to lower one of the sides of the sunroof and need to use some string to pull that side of the sun roof to lower it. The guy I bought it from says you can fit a glass passat sun roof but was not sure which model. Would anyone know? Also the wing mirrors do not work. I think they still click but no movement but the guy i bought it from said that the passenger side has no wire to it. I have a spare wing mirror with a wire. Are they easy to take apart to get ot the motor inside the mirror and would anyone know what usually causes the wing mirrors not to work as I has the same problem with my last corrado?

OK well my Corrado has hit me with 3 issues at once. ABS Light Staying on after I pull away Had codes read and replaced 2 front and 1 rear wheel sensor, replace brake pedal sensor and the wiring to it and even the ABS ECU but still the light comes back on and saying it's the brake pedal sensor. Anyone any ideas - could it actually be the brake servo? Car running rough and not at all when I plugged into the water temperature sensor which I have now replaced twice so its not that sensor. Maybe the ABS and the water temperture sensor are down to ageing wiring so anyone know if you can get just the wiring loom for the engine? Drivers door again broken but the part that has broken is not the normal part that goes - where can I get a cheap door handle? It could be coming to the time I just decide to wave white flag and sell it :(

Thank you for that. Just changed it over and still no joy. The one I swapped it for was about 1.3mm longer and had to push the sensor really in hard to get it flush. Hope it didn't damage anything as a result of that.

Hi I'm having issues with my dreaded ABS light - it once again stays on and has done since the snow at xmas which caused my Corrado to be stationary for a month due to my old knackered water drinking engining freezing due to lack of anti freeze which finishing it off which I replaced. Anyway after having being told the ABS light was down to my Front OS sensor (already changed the Front Near Side and Rear OS Previously) I replaced it only for my ABS light to still stay on. AFter another trip to the garage and a sparky checking all the codes and sensor it was determined that my very hard to get hold of Brake Pedal Distance Sensor was faulty. I managed to get hold of one and have now fitted it but that ABS light refuses to stay off. Does anybody know if there is any significance regaining what colour tip the sensor has as the one i fitted as a blue tip and the one I took off green? Oh MOT tomorrow so guess it's a failure :( Kind Regards Mark

hi im def interested. Ive managed to open it now by taking the grill off and pulling down on the cable which i now need to replace due to broken clip. I've also got to sort out my fog lights as they no longer work since the garage replaced my engine and lower rad crossmember and also missing my air temperture sensor and the small part of teh alarm that tells me if the bonnet is either shut or not as they seem to have not put back on :confused4:

Hi does anyone know how to release a bonnet if the cable has either snapped or come away from under the bonnet? Just got car back from garage yesterday where the had they had all of the front of the car off replacing the lower rad crossmeember and engine but was hoping to have a look at it myself before giving the car back to them to fix. Bonnet work 1st time I popped it after it's return due to only one headlight working, 2nd time the N/S of the bonnet was catching and today I pulled it and something went I I've just got a floppy handle :confused4: Oh and whilst I posting this topic any ideas how easy it is to get to the air temp senser as my car now thinks it's 50c outside

Hi sorry. I managed to solve mine. I must have some how trapped the vacumn\air pipe when I put my dash back in as I checked to see if the actuator for the door still woked by blowing and sucking into the pipe. Luckily all I had to do was undo the 2 nuts that hold the back of the dash near the wiper blade linkage, push the dash forward than back. So thats one problem fixed, I have now another water leak as my car has decided it neads a water fountain next to the alternator??!! 3rd water leak probalem this year!!
-
Thank you, I will do some more investigating this evening. I can't remember having to disconnect anything from the door handle when I took it out. There does though seem to be a spare connector within the door. The actuator seems to be all connected up so its not from there.

Hi at the weekend I noticed that Passenger Door has stopped unlocking either when I use the key fob or the the drivers side lock, which is great cause last week I had to take the dash out to replace the heater matrix and not that long ago it was the passenger side door handle mech. Anyway it will unlock though if I try unlocking it but have to be quick or the door locks as if there is still suction there. Any one have ideas and also where is the centrol locking pump located?

Hi, Thank you for you advice but since I posted it i fixed the problem. Seemed my brown oil pressure sensor was dodgy.
