designrob started following Corrado needed for wedding!
-
Hi there, Wasn't sure whether this is the right place for this post but anyway, I am getting married on the 29th September this year! I have previously owned a black VW Corrado VR6, and had many years of great motoring, and during that period I met my know future wife to be. I would love to drive away from the church to the reception (20mins) in a Corrado. It's a long shot but if there are Corrado owners nearby who want to earn a bit of cash here are the details: Where - Wheathill nr Ludlow (Shropshire) When - Saturday 29th September, 1pm to 4 pm. Plan - Owner drives to where I am staying, I then drop them of at reception which is 2mins down the road. I drive off to the church with best man. Get married and, drive back to reception. Hand over car to owner. I have a clean driving licence and will get insured on the car. Price - will negotiate a fee with whoever is interested Thanks for looking Rob

Lovely Car! Just out of interest, how much do they cost? -
Cheers for the advice guys. It's for a VR6 Thanks Kev for the advice about the flywheel, I will ask the garage about that too!

I need some advice pls! To add to the long list of things going wrong with my car at the moment, the Clutch now needs replacing! :( I have been quoted £500.00 for a genuine VW Clutch Kit inc Fitting. or £330 for a After Market LUK Clutch! If I dont go for the VW Clutch, will there be a great difference in the feel etc? Is there much difference in quality? cheers

Jedi: Buy this months EVO Mag! They have a complete buying guide on the Renault Clio 172 or 182's! (cant remember which!) By the way they rave about it! And the new Clio Trophy came 1st by beating the Nissan 350Z, M3 CS, Golf R32 and the Impreza WRX in a test drive round a circuit! So it must be good!

car is in london, will find out the rest tonight!

Should have mentioned my sis might be selling her S2000! Its silver with the red leather interior. Very good condition with S2000 number plate! She has hardly ever used it!
-
My sis has an S2000! Ive driven it and have to say that I would take my Corrado anytime! The Honda is a great car, super quick, and with rear wheel drive it can be very hairy at times!! But everything seems very harsh, and not very smooth!

I found Admiral to be fairly cheap. 27 with 5 yrs no claims, costs me about £600. If i moved to london this goes up to £1100!!!!!

It needed a new headlight + foglight. The slam panel was damaged, but they said If I wanted a new one they would right the car off ( think they cost nearly £800.00), so I choose to get it repaired!!! Itr is amazing how such a small amount of damage can kill off a corrado! -

Beware Blind Rover Drivers!!!!! This happend about 6 months ago, was only doing 30mph, other driver didnt see me as he pulled out so slammed into the side of me causing me to demolish the fence!! I was shocked as the insurance company nearly wrote it off! Even for a small collision the repairs cost £2500!!!!
