Well ive got new headlamp lenses and platinum plugs today - hopefully the upgraded headlight loom will be here tomorrow and its booked in with Darren of G-werks on the 8th Nov to get the charger overhauled (only pulling about 9psi boost with a chip & pulley). Just got to sort the wipers then  Just got to sort a poor cold starting prob and then time to sit back and enjoy  Thanks for the welcome chaps 8) Pete.

Take the advice of the others on this board - give him a full refund and get the wheels back - its not worth messing around/damaging your Ebay feedback - he's obviously trying it on and you offering a full refund will probably surprise him/call his bluff  .. Good luck anyhow  Pete.

Some of you may have seen my newbie post in the general chat forum 8) , The story is:- bought a 92 G60 Corrado on Thursday last week - chargers being rebuilt in a week or so as its not producing the boost it should be - ive already traced a slight boost leak. The other problem and reason for this post is the poor cold starting tendancies of the car - it takes alot of cranking to get the car to fire - approx 5 seconds and when it does catch it doesnt fire up on all cylinders - a little blip on the throttle brings the other cylinders into life - i find holding the throttle fully open during cranking then releasing as soon as it catches improves things a little - the end result is that it will fire on all four when it does burst into life - almost seems like over fuelling on start up :?: ..... When the car is switched off when warm and restarted within a short period of time it catches immediately - its only a problem first thing in the morning or when the car has been left for a few minutes when warm. Its not horrendous as its only a few seconds cranking - but i know its not right. Ive got a set of the correct plugs on order from ECP and ive pulled the connection of the AIC valve - now from experience this will usually stall the car - mine just carried on running so im thinking it may be gummed up.... Any suggestions welcome 8) Pete.

Hi Mate, The lenses are from Eurocarparts - £25 each side + the dreaded Vodka & Tonic - Genuine too 8) Still on the lookout for a set of Fogs but they come up on Ebay quite regularly. Also on the lookout for another set of rims but thats all for later - getting Darren at G werks to refurb thew charger on the 8th so funds are a bit tight  Pete.

Would love to mate but im at Stealth Racing with the VR6OC forum group - got a AGM/piss up on the Saturday and dyno day on the Sunday. Want to get a base figure for the Golf before i fit the ZR2 Charger the following week  Is it a Sussex meet or a South East meet - might try to drop in soon 8) Pete.

The wheels are ACE 17" something or other - i wasnt really looking for a car that had been modified but this one happened to come along at a decent price and local to boot. Car has been lowered with Gmax springs and shocks - the ride is quite respectable - just need to get the blower sorted as it feels a bit sluggish - currently in talks with Darren about this  Pete.
