Cool, thanks for that 👍🏻

Hi, the manual I have is this one. Downloaded from one of the Facebook forums

Thanks Sean, much appreciated. Stupid question, is the Bentley manual the same as the repair manual from VW? I have the repair manual. Ta

Hi, I’ve just had all the gubbins under the car powder coated and I’m looking to start the rebuild. I have the VW Corrado Service Manual but would prefer to learn from someone that also gives hints and tips. Does anyone know of a decent ‘how to’ for the subframe assembly and rear axle? Thanks

Hi James, posted you a payment the other day, thanks...

Thanks, i might pop in to the dealer tomorrow morning to see if they can still source it...

Hi, I don't suppose anyone has a spare under cover for the passenger side of the front bumper? (Sorry for the crap description). Ideally with the screws that go with it. Mine is missing after coming to grief with a fallen branch in Granton-on-Spey one very winters day when a local garage had to cut off part of my bumper so I could get home, but I stupidly left that piece there. This piece of the bumper also holds on the plastic trim and inner arch, so would like to sort it before the salt starts getting spread. Ta, Craig.

Thanks, I've had to do the reset before as well (had my C for 12 years). Method I used was to. Warm it up before hand so that I could cane it immediately after reconnecting the battery. Trouble is that I can't get the car started at all. If I manage to get her up and running I may reset her again once warmed... I'll let you know how I get on. You're fairly close to Star Performance - have you ever used them? Any good?

Thanks Craig, yeah I read your previous post before posting my own. I'm hoping it's not the ECU - a bit weird that the relay is chattering the way it is. I'm going to have a chat with a guy how installs Cliffords daily to see if he has ever come across this, otherwise it'll need to go in the garage. Shame I live so far from Stealth. Would love to just drop it off there and have them sort it... I might try disconnecting the battery to reset the car. Anyone got experience of that working?

Hi, went to start my 95M VR6 after it had been sitting in the drive for the last month waiting to go for a new cat, service and MoT, but it wouldn't start. When turning the ignition on the fuel pump relay is clicking like mad and I can also hear the fuel pump coming on and off and also, sometimes, what I think is the starter motor very briefly trying to come on (as I say, it's clicking really fast). I don't have the factory fitted immobiliser on there anymore, but I do have a clifford 650 mk2. The clifford seems to be arming and disarming okay. I'd really appreciated advice on what it might be. I was due to take her to the garage tomorrow to finally get her back on the road, so I'm gutted she's still sitting in the drive. Btw, tried an old 190 relay and it did the same thing. Worried it might be the ECU :/

That would be me. Finally picking up my C today after 2 weeks in the shop. I'll try to get along to Doune if I can. Hopefully the weather's good...

Hi Ray, Do you mind me asking how you got on with the pipes? I have just failed my MOT due to leaking steering rack pipes and would much rather be replacing the pipes rather than the whole fekin' rack. Also, is it a DIY or garage job? ta, Craig.

Hi, I am replacing my H&R springs this week and am getting the MK4 top mounts and replacing the rear bump stops. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much I need to cut the bump stops down by? I am getting a local garage to do the work and I would like to make sure I give them the correct info on what to do. BTW, I am also buying new bearings for the fronts; is there anything else I should replace in there? Many thanks, Craig.

Thanks mate! Yeah, what a relief. The technician at the local stealers said I can still drive the car, not over 1000 miles though, soI'm just gonna wait for the new parts to arrive rather than use parts from a breakers. Thanks for your help

I've just had word from the garage, and they tell me that it is the spring in the pedal that is bust. Unfortunately, the parts are on back order from germany and won't be available for 2 weeks!! Does anyone know where I can get hold of the following parts: Pressure Spring 357721427A Shaft 191721429 thanks guys!
