  1. would someone kindly let me have the thread that tells you a full list of what needs doing for a full service. Thanks
  2. Thanks Jim, did try and use the search key but too many items came up and wasn't sure how to refine it. I appriciate your help
  3. Hi all, having a service done on my 2.016v. It is has covered 66k. Is there a list of parts that need changing and looking at on this mileage and what is the best oil to put in it. Cheers
  4. Hi all, It's that time of the year where I need a service on my 2.0 16v. Can anyone recommend a garage near Hornchurch Essex? I was going to take to VW to keep up VW history but after reading on here, I don't think thats a good idea! I am happy to get all the serving parts from VW but like someone to do the service who actually cares!!!! Thanks Dal

    Fuel filter

Hi there, I also have just purchased a fuel filter, it it easy to fit or should I bring in the experts!!!! Cheers retrodal
  6. Cheers Henny - I'll give that a try and let you know how I get on.
  7. Hi there, Just come back from a weekend in Dorset. The corrado started to miss fire at about 80 mph. It only happened about 4 times in the 3 hour journey, and it was as though I had come off the accelerator for a split second. No warning lights came on at all. Any suggestions. It is a 2.0l 16v with 66k and has full VW sericve history. Fuel pump is humming, and not sure that VW change the filter at all. Could it be this?? Cheers guys
  8. What a nightmare. Went to fit my aeroblades and arms at the weekend only to find out that they are polo arms and blades. They are massive!! Gutted! I might put them up forsale soon as they can be used for the back wiper conversion. Just to clariffy, is it lupo gti arms only that fit, since 2002 all vw have the aeroblades but obviously the polo ones don't fit. Can I get any lupo arms that come off a 2002 onwards car. Are there any other vw's that will fit the corrado. My mission for vission in the rain continues!!
  9. Thanks for the advice Randal, how can I check if the linkage is good or bad, or do I just wait until it breaks!!!!
  10. At last, I have managed to get a set of Areo blades and arms. I got them from the VW and Audi Breakers in River Road, Barking, Essex. £20 all in....happy days Just to make sure. Is it right that the arms are slightly different or have I been ripped off!!!!! I know the blades are different but one or the arms has a longer flatter bit at the base.
  11. Cheers mate, I'm not far from there I think.
  12. Anyone know any good breakers in Essex or Kent that get corrado bits, I appriciate that they don't come in on a regular basis like perhaps a fiat uno would!!
  13. Borderair - Have you seen the badge on EBAY at the moment, is your sister in the Bournemouth area?? Just a thought, may well be totally genuine
  14. Looking to get the servicing parts from VW then get my very reliable mechanic mate to do service. Is there any litrature out there that tells you what to service and when ie mileage etc. parts - oil, air, full service, mine is on 62k and full VW history but from all what I've heard so far on this forum I won't be taking mine there. Thanks for your help retrodal
