Having gone through the history of posts on fans and cooling have narrowed down the fault on my '95 VR6. My low speed rad cooling fan is not working when I bridge the contacts on the thermoswitch. The high speed works fine (so there is power at the thermoswitch) and the fan works. What do I check or change next? I am assuming the fan relay/control should be the next? Where will I find these. Under bonnet or with the other fuses etc.? The car has Aircon (diavia system) so there are all sorts of extra wires, pipes and relays. Thanks

How effective is the aircon system? I understand it was a dealer fit option at purchase. I've never been in a C with the system fitted and I was wondering if it was a desireable option?

How can you tell a Storm from a regular VR6? Is it just the 6 spokes and a few badges? Or are the green and blue paint jobs unique to Storms? There still seems to be quite a price premium in the market, enough to make passing off a car as a Storm of interest to the bad guys. Are there any other tells or do VW keep a record (if so where)? If so where are all the places the VIN is on the car? I am looking for a high spec Corrado are the Storms worth the extra?
