  1. Thanks a lot mate! But unfortunately it's not good. CSR gb was on VR6 Syncro Golf.
  2. Hello! Can anyone to tell me the CSR syncro gear box speed ratios? Thanks a lot!
  3. Well, I must keep the PG for Auto Registration. "you also need a 16V intermediate shaft and 16v oil pump." I believe the reason is the larger debit needed for the 16 valve head, isn't it? So, here comes another question: The KR head fits exactly on PG block? Because I do find somewhere on a site (I forgotten where) there are some modifications to be done on the oil channels between head and block: some channel must blocked and other channel must bigger rebored. Which one and what?
  4. WoW! Thanks WORMY! Quite quick usefull answer! Maybe you can answer me to another questions (maybe plus some photos): 2. I don't find what kind of distributor I can/have to use because I need a Hall sensor not a Delco (for my PG Digifant1). 3. I don't find what spacers I have to use for Water pump and Steering pump pulleys, or what I need to shave from other pulleys. 4. Something about 16V Secondary shaft and gears? Theese are some of a kind of bolt-on stuffs? Or there are some mods? ---------- Post added at 7:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:46 PM ---------- WoW! Thanks WORMY! Quite quick usefull answer! 5. This topic is really dead and berried? If not, can anyone tell me if I can use (successfully) a PG block, a KR/PL head, Audi S2 (3B) conrods and pistons? I saw: - PG rods has center to center length 136mm, compression height 39,2mm, wrist pin 22mm, big end diameter 50,6mm, stroke 86,4mm, dome +1,95mm, depth -8,6mm. That's mean a a length of rod+piston of 177,15mm. - S2 rods has center to center length 144mm, compression height 32,5mm, wrist pin 20mm, big end diameter 50,6mm, stroke 80,4mm, dome +0,7mm, depth -1,2mm. That's mean a a length of rod+piston of 177,25mm. So that mean both combination have the same (almost) length. From where comes the difference (lowering) of the compression ratio from 8:1 to almost 6:1? ---------- Post added at 4:41 AM ---------- Previous post was at 4:40 AM ---------- This topic is really dead and berried? 6. Hello! Great thread, super informations! Sorry, maybe is the wrong place for posting, but I have a short (and surely a silly) question: What is the best combination of parts for obtaining the optimum (higher) performances by mixing the blocks, cilinder heads, crankshafts, pistons and conecting rods for a turbo setup, using the following engines: PG, KR, ADY, 9A, 2E (the 4-cyl engines mounted on Corrado). If it is possible (and if someone will answer me) please be so kind to tell me the BHPs (tq) outputs for some variants. Thanks a lot and please be gentle and don't treat me like a damn dumb :gag: !
  7. Yeah, occasionally! But sometime's fun: dusty/wet/moody/snowy/icy asphalt. Isn't it?
  8. And, as I have said, the last try at 1,2 bar (comparing with 1,0 bar). The values are ON THE WHEEL! Of course, in this situation, the 1/4 time will be better  (but I forgot to save the file, sory :notworthy: ) ! And that's all for now becouse I don't have enough courage to go over this power/torque. I don't know if my syncro transmision will survive!!! See this: http://auto-tv.ro/filme/488.html And this is the graph: 1vs_1.2.JPG[/attachment:1v288yfb]
  9. Something new: THE DYNO! The lower curves and values was at 0,8 bar and the upper at 1.0 bar.The values are ON THE WHEELS! See the next post (mean the next try at 1,2 bar  ) Video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8stFcB40aU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti0klJa_wzw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueSbRDKL5jc And the graphs: 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfQTR.JPG[/attachment:mfqyt2av] DEMO_VS_1_BAR.JPG[/attachment:mfqyt2av]
  10. Does anyone knows something about the losses in the syncro transmision brocken by the items? I need to know how many percents of power or torque are "eating" each: the gearbox (X%), the final drive (y%), the propeller shaft (z%), the visco-coupling (w%), the rear axle differential (q%). THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
  11. Well, we all are a little insane :bad-words: :censored:  :salute: :pukeright: :brickwall: .... .
  12. Thank you ladds, you are very kind :D ! vornwend, between the moment I throw out the G60 engine and the first ride with turbo inside it tooks 13 months. You see, I have a job and this is not my hobby :) ! And among all some people are not sufficiently serious and I am reffering to some tuning shops where I supplied parts for my project. It was my work, in terms of the mechanics, but I paid someone for welding and for assembly for electronic parts and settings (Haltech) Oh, about the roads in Romania... :censored: ... this is all :pukeright: what I can tell you :brickwall: ! ... And we don't have ANY track in Romania! All our governments (since the begining of the XX century, continuing with the present) believed this is a nonprofitable luxury... :gag: !
  13. The FMIC is mounted right on metallic part of the bumper. I don't now if it's fit on a standard one. I'll search some pictures for you. ... again about the bodykit... in the reality it's very good looking, but in the pictures it is in disadvantage...
  14. aide, kevhaywire, thank you very much! greasegriff, Well, nobody is perfect... oh, and my dog are eating only fresh and juicy steaks :norty: ... better and healthier than a lots of human... and they (my dogs) are very polite... not as many peoples  . herisites, I am "the guy who bended over the engine". I am very good looking, isn't it  ? About the bodykit... I made it 4 years ago. I liked it... then. But now, I'm sure it can be improved... at least :) . Thanks a lot to all!
  15. Thanks a lot guys! Oh!... About the dogs (giant schnauzers)... well, I am obliged to admit that they have dealt with modifications. I just have the tools... (The chief is the old one with the white moustache :) - named Sheitan. The otherone is very young, is a "she", it's name is Kiwa and she is an ... entertainer  )
  16. Well, foks, my dream comes true! My Corrado was born like a G60 in 1989. Five years ago I kidnapped it (for a good price) from someone who didn't gave him enough attention. First step was some tuning at the engine: 68mm G-pulley, RS3 tuning chip, ISV block valve, overbored inlet manifold, raised fuel pressure, front mounted IC, polished and ported stage IV compressor, by-pass valve rerouting, RSII G-outlet. The car was very good… but not enough. So, the second step was adapting a syncro system from a 91 Passat G60. Well, again, the car was very good good… but not enough. So, the third step was to throw out (for a good price, of course) the G60 engine and to drop in a 2,8 VR6 engine (and a VR6 syncro system) and to rebuild it so resist for something nice… a Garrett! So, this is the list of all mods: - engine is rebored to 3,0 litres, - "Haltech E8" stand alone ECU, - "Garrett" T60-1 turbo (A/R turbine=0,82; A/R compressor=0,70), - "Wossner" forged pistons 8:1, - "H"-4340 connecting rods, - "ARP" headstuds, main studs and rod bolts, - "Glyco" bearings, - "Tial 50" BOV, - "Tial” F 38 WG, - "ATP2" turbo exhaust manifold, - "Rennspott" short admision manifold, - 3 inch inox welded pipes (matt black coated), - "Samco" hoses, - "Autobahn 88" intercooler (600x300x76), - "Bosch" (044) fuel pump, - "Delphi" 525 cmc injectors, - "Schimmel Performance" highflow fuelrail, - "SX" FPR, - "SX" fuel filter, - "NGK" race spark plug, - "Racimex" 16 oil cooler, - "Mocal" oil adapter with thermostat, - "SPAL" double airfan, - "BMC" air filter, - 3 inch exhaust Traction and wheelbase: - SYNCRO (4x4) system from a 95'Golf VR6; - "Sachs" clutch (Stage IV), - "Schimmel Performance" flywheel (4,1 kg), - "B M" short shifter. - "Weitec" (KW) adjustable shock absorbers and adjustable coils (Hicon GT+Tx Series); - "MAM" MT2 8Jx17" / "BBS" RC - Motorsport Edition 8Jx17" wheels ; - "Marangoni" Zeta Linea 205/40/17 84W / "Toyo" Proxes 205/40/17 84W tyres ; - "SCC" spacers: 40mm front axle and 70mm rear axle; - "Powerflex" bushes; Body: - custom bodykit; - Solar Red paint; - "In.Pro" (angel eyes) frontlight; - "APP" - xenon (7000K - short beam); - "In.Pro" front fogs & signals; - "FK" Lexus black tailights; - single wiper; - "FK" "Spacelook" front seats; - "VEMS" double digital gauge: EGT, A/FR (wide band); - "Stack" gauges: boost, oil temp; - "OMP" "Strada" 3/4 pts seatbelts; - "OMP" "Fast" steering wheel; - double sided exhausters (2,5 inch); - shaved doors and hood; ICE - "Valor" ITS 701W all-in-one DVD head unit; - "Pioneer" GT X 4300, 750W 2-way amplifier; - "Pioneer" DT 6300F, 600W 4-way amplifier; - "Pioneer" 203 D2, 2x400W RMS subwoofers. - "Alpine", 4x200W RMS - 3 way speakers Now, in that moment, while the engine is running for the first 1000 miles or 1700 km, the intermediate setups goes to 340 HP and 430 Nm at 5300 rpm. After several attempts (but not enough!) I reached 62 mph in 4,9 sec (with a friend and all the ICE in the car = 120 kilos’ – 265 pounds, and with 20 kilos’- 44 pounds - wheels - MAM). After that period (I believe I finalize it after a month) the final setups will go to some over 500 HP and over 600 Nm. Ups! Yes, I know, the syncro system doesn’t support powers over 350 HP (maybe something under 400 HP, if I’m lucky), but I’ll try to use a Haltech feature which can manage the engine power depending the gear set or the car velocity. Well, in short, this is all about “The CORRAPTOR”.
  17. That means I need a 02M? But 02M is compatible with VR6 engine?
  18. Thank you very much for yor answer. I'll need more infos for sustaining my project, anyway.
  19. I thought so! But the gearbox will resist?
  20. Do a Syncro system suport 500HP? I allready upgraded my G60 C with a syncro system (from a '91 Passat) and I'm preparing my C for over 500 BHP from a VR6 engine base: 3.0L overbore, Garret T60-1, forged pistons(Wiseco), conrods (Panchi), rods (ARP), 440 ccm injectors, Sachs Racing Clutch stage III etc. I allready bougt a VR6 syncro gear box (CSR), but I want to know: Do this Syncro system (VR6 gearbox+VC+G60 syncro rear dif) suport 500HP? Which part is weak? Please, any answer is a real support for me! Thank you all!
  21. Paint job started. Uhh! Great expectations! I'm thrilling!
  22. Great job! Nothing is gonna happend to you in this armoured cockpit!
