just found a 2000 golf tdi engine box turbo starter engine wireing loom ecu both keys etc, but its from a left hooker anybody know if this would fit ok. regards mat

Project Corrado TDI -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi guys just need a bit of advice I have a G plate corrado 1.8 16v, have been toying with a few ideas vr6, 1.8t. But have decided to go down the TDI route. Have sorted out the body kit i'm gonna fit the colour and spray job I'm gonna do just need to work out the best Tdi to fit anybody have any ideas the best and easiest to fit. I'd would also like to get a good amount of bhp and torque out of the engine. All advise will be appreciated thanks guys mat

Hi all just an update, today I fixed the problem it seems that the valve at the back of the metering head was clogged with oil and wasn’t allowing air to pass. Does anybody know what it’s called? Regards all matt

Hi all still have this same problem, have cleaned the isv valve didnt help at all, the car will cut out every time when you dip the clutch. it hunts when below 2000revs but will be stable at about 2000 with out hunting. anybody got ant advice thanks mat

Hi guys really need some help with this problem thought I'd got rid of it but its come back :(!!! Ok here are the symptoms, will not idle when the problem happens at all, if you hold the pedal at 1000 it goes from 1000 to 1500 and continues to do this until you move away. At low speed when you accelerate there is a pronounced hesitation. But as you get to the higher speeds it seems fine. Thanks in advance Matt

Hi all it seems the problem was an immobilizor issue, I still have a problem with my idle sometimes it just cuts out any ideas on this issue guys thanks mat

tried a working ecu with no joy at all still just turns over there is a clicking noise but thats all, any other ideas guys as to no spark. thanks in advance mat

I've checked for a spark and no joy, Ive managed to get hold of another ecu so am gonna try that one later. the car has a clifford falcon 2 alarm fitted so if the ecu doesnt fix then this is gonna be my next point of call unless you guys have any other ideas. thanks for the advice so far regards mat

Hi all I'm new to this forum but really need some help, My K reg corrado was having running problems. It would run like it was running on 3 then after gunning it it would clear, then the other day it died totally on a slip road theres no spark or fuel. So far I've changed the ignition module, hall sender and the coil but to no avail. Please can anybody help as i really need my car LOL. thanks in advance mat
