:( :( Just got some bad news my car has been put down as a total loss. Can't believe it. Sick as a pig. Looks like I will have some Corrado goodies to sell very shortly.
-
Too late about telling the insurance did that this morning good news is that their authorised repairer is going to fix it. New quarter to be fitted and he is also painting the door. As this is my second car I had zero no claims anyway I will just have to take it on the chin next year when I shop around for ins.

Now thats what I call a dent :bad-words:

Thanks for the sympathy guys. I cant believe somone would do so much damage and just bugger off. Anyways I live in the Cumbernauld near Glasgow if anybody knows of any good bodyshops please let me know.I dont want it bodged. Randal I feel for you mate I will try and get some pics of mine up but my quarter panel looks knackered to me. I did have some money put by for some nice 17" wheels so hopefully they can repair it as well as removing the bump strips and fit new door handles for me I do like that look.

It certainly wont pull out I'm furious. No pics yet got to go to work (night shift). The damage is between drivers door and rear wheel arch it is pushed in so far it is afecting the door closing and panel is well creased and pushed up into a point. It is not looking good! Will need to contact the insurance in the morning.

Some f***ing idiot has reversed into my o/s rear quarter and seriously damaged it does anyone know if this will right my car off. I seriously hope not it is my pride and joy...
-
Thanks guys I will pull the door card off again and check the guides.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I have been getting wind noise and some water getting past the seal on my drivers window. On closer inspection the window is not going fully up and into the top seal it is short by about 5mm. I have taken the door card off to see if there is any adjustment the only thing I can see is at the bottom of the glass where it sits in the mechanism there is a clamp that only allows left to right adjustment which does not cure the problem. Am I missing something?

I do like the TSW's but not to keen on the dish. My car is a daily driver and I think the dish would corrode to easily with stone chips and salt etc.. The tyres supplied in the package are GT Champiro :pukeleft:
-
have been looking into the tyre upgrades I was thinking of upgrading to Avons only an extra £40 is it worth it or just stick to the tyres supplied?
-
Any opinions on the rims themselves would love a set of BBS RC'S but funds wont stretch And sorry yes it is a 4 stud 16v

I am considering buying these wheels for my C. Was wondering if there would be any problems with rubbing etc. The car is not lowered at the moment but will be in the future. Will they fit on without any arch rolling etc... The wheels are et35 and 17" http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp? ... &PT_ID=all

Ended up going For Boston Acoustic FS50 componenets up front, replaced the rear 6x4s with JBLdirect replacement and an Infinity Basslink. Finished installing it all at the weekend and I am well pleased with the result. :D
