ive got chance of a golf mk3 gti 8v apparently should run around 300hp all engine work done there but everything else is stasdard sounds iffy a standard gearbox and shaft coping with 300hp what do you guys think?

does anyone know how many miles they are good for before a rebuild is required and how it affects the longevity of the engine cheers

i might have a problem with it ive just noticed it lweaking oil. it must be a mk11 coz it has an oil reservoir. will have to sort this first, before i sell sorry for the inconveniance
