Hello everyone, I'm brand new to this. I bought an 'L' reg Corrado in June. Which, after having a Ford Escort 1300 for 3 months (after my ex-wife made me get rid of my Scirocco) was sheer ectasy. 3 weeks ago, it just started running really rough. a call to the AA got me home. Next morning, turned it over, started first time, as usual, then began to tick over really rough. Touched the accelerator, and the engine died. Re-started, only just ticking over, but no revs. Touched accelerator, and dead. The follwoing morning it took me 2 miles, then the same thing. I think it could be the fuel distribution unit, anyone got any ideas?
It has done 160,000 miles.
HELP!!!
I don't want to get rid.
