Nope mate its not on coilovers at the mo. Cheers guys and many thanks Steve for the help + putting up the pictures. Well i just got some springs and top plates (to get the car back on the road and tide me over untill i can get some coilovers) Now just gotta fit them with the help of a good mate.....Only slight snag now is said good mate just purchased a 20vT cupra engine to fit into his caddy so is understandably quite sidetracked!!! Oh well I'll get there in the end, hopefully before gti international!

cheers for that :wink: so just to clarify before i go and order possibly the wrong springs :oops: , ALL corrado shocks/springs are suitable and its just the top mounts that are different :?:

Cheers for the info m8, very interesting. No pics as yet as my computer isnt up to the job! Ill try and put some up later tonght. Havin had a closer look it appears that there is 0 room between the arches and tyre which i guess equates to a drop of about 75-80mm!! Is this not a great idea as most of the springs ive seen for sale are for a drop of between 30-40mm im sure the ride etc would be a lot better anyway as i must admit it was rather harsh!! from looking on the forum i see ill probably need early top plates/mounts (if its not got them already) but would most springs ie weitec, eibach etc fit straight onto the bilstein shocks? Hi all, ive only had the pleasure of my corrado vr6 for 2 weeks and i now have problems!.....It would seem my passenger side front spring has decided to destroy itself and is now scraping into the arches...not good! What i need to now is the amount my car is lowered, i know to measure this i measure from the middle of the wheel up to the arch but i dont know what measurement this should be as standard?? The car has bilstein shocks and 17s and from the looks of it has been lowered quite a bit. Any one help?? Look forward to spending more time here and if i can get this sorted seeing some of the cars at the shows this summer!!!
