Randal borke it whilst drilling a new mounting point... but atleast the seats look good even if the view is a bit fractured...!

Phil K yes they still slide and also height adjust, well the drivers does the passenger TT seat has a seized shox which i have currently removed to un- seize( Who cares i never sit in the passenger side!! LOL) I am planning to get the door cards and rear quarters covered in leather of course :D just not sure when and where!

the rear bench goes in fine infact it is exactly the same size as the rado's i havnt looked at the rear backs, they cant be any harder than the front....LOL :D

Jay that wooden block is actually a stop the sunroof falling in device! carefully crafted until i can be bothered to fix and it stops raining for more than a few hours!!! :D

Fitted Audi TT seats!!!! Pics in interior section... :D

As promised pics of fitted TT seats. Fitment wasnt too bad, I had a local engineering firm weld a couple of frames which span between the original rado seat runners. These are bolted onto the TT seat runners at the rear. The fronts are bolted straight into the body either side of the original rado bolting points. Easy when you have thought about it for weeks!!!. You will see from the pics the TT seat sits no higher than the original seats although the TT seats are longer in the back than the rados. Im six foot and with the TT seat I still have plenty of head room. 8)

Well ive actually managed it, after alot of swearing etc i am now the proud owner of a rado with AudiTT leather seats... Pics to follow!! 8)

Make your own bout £20 from B&Q and 1 hour labour accoustic cloth £3 ebay!!! Bargain as good as the original!!! :D Plus as stevemac stated free boot floor!!! LOL

Spotted a grey Rado today on the road side with what looked like a very poorley wheel on the A42

Sorry should have been clearer with my description.!! I am looking at welding new ones to the base of the floor they are from an audi tt.....

I giot a full respray done for £1000 cash no questions asked!!! This included fitting two new doors and obviously prep work etc... :D

Is it possible to weld seat runners to the floor of my rado? Is there any issues with regards to structural strength of the floor plan? Your help would be appreciated cheers

I have fitted an early door to my 93K rado pretty much the same a couple of the door card mountings where slightly different but nothing a drill couldnt sort!! :D

Quite a few companies are selling seat mountings that are for no specific make of seat but are vehicle specific does anyone know anything about these. Do they fit flush to vehicle floor etc?? Any information would be usefull....

Thanks biggerbigben i should think pretty much anything is easy after that? I can pick the seats up for less than £300 in perfect condition and they are local so think i might give em a try!! LOL

How hard would it be to fit an Audi TT leather seats front and rear to my rado? Any ideas.... :lol:
