  1. the sti or evo over the 350z in terms of price and performance for a new sports car from japan.

all around would be the 993- performance, looks, resale value. i ate up a mod'd 350z in my stock 993. we jumped at about 90mph- his pipes were screamin, by 120mph i was 2 or 3 cars ahead. go figure. my car has 90k miles on it, his was new & modified and i even had my top down.

(all this was late at night with no other traffic on the- let's say- closed road)

  2. Is there a limit on the power that you can run with these adaptors? Someone told me that anything over 200 bhp is risky.........or is that just a myth?

    Cheers

    Tom

I have adapters for my Porsche splits and I have 360bhp??? Mind you the rear ones are steel.

biggerbigben, if you have porsche brakes, why do you need adapters? also, which porsche brakes do you have on the c and how hard were they to fit? i am thinking about upgrading my 993 to big reds and if so, i'll have the extra set of 4 piston brembos as well as a set of 17" cups once i get some rims. nice car btw.

i also had 1" h&r studded adapters on my 1992 gmc typhoon (rear only- the rears on those are narrower than the front) & had no problems. then again, the damn thing got stolen so maybe the jackass that took it did. lol.

man, you guys have some crazy c cars! when i benched mine 10 years ago i thought i had it almost done, now i'm starting from square one!

  3. just wanted to say hello to all. i'm new to this forum and have had my 1990 g60 since it was brand new. i'm not too sure how many og owners there are out there, probably a hand full. my g60 has been in storage for the past 10 years!!! it has 75k on it and looks pretty good for its age. before i put away i had the neuspeed hp kit (probably outdated by now), air intake, chip, pulley, fuel enrichment, etc. installed along with new boge shocks & struts, hor springs, new bushings & 16" bbs rx's with 205 45 rubber (this was HUGE for 1994). the car ran like a champ the last time i opened it up. i'm planning to start driving the car again as a daily driver since gas is so damn high now. i'll be on here regularly and hope it helps me as much as rennlist does for my 993.
