What cars were these pods fitted to? Were they standard on the VR6 models?

I have just used it on mine but, I was told that it wasa temporary fix which when I changed the radiator meant I would have to flush the system several times. I don't think it is an issue as long as you make sure you do the flushing.

Where can I get one of those gauge pods for my car? It is a RHD so needs to angle the other way. Also are they difficult to fit? I will probably take it to Dubsport but, I could do with getting the bits together first.

I recently bought a G60 and when I took it to Dubsport to be serviced I asked for Mobile 1 as it is without doubt the best oil on the planet. Dubsport promptly shot me down by telling me that on G60s if they haven't always used a fully synthetic oil then if you change to them later there is a good chance that you will develope oil pressure problems. :?
