  1. lol yer mayb paddy, ooo silver corrado paddy my favourite colour, well i'm sure even the 1.8 would be fast to me with past cars i've driven. kev u a ipswich fan, i got me first season ticket this year, can't wait for sat, so excited.
  2. looks very cool in the pic's, lucky u
  3. cheers, is that pub just up from the round-a-bout or further along, mite hav 2 take a look. aye the cheaper 2 run and insurance is why i think 1.8 16v may b the 1, but then i fink in the back of my mind i'll b finkin g60 g60, always buy another 1 day i guess , b 200k miles then though. if i knew how i'd make new engines. cheers
  4. I'm still lookin for a good corrado close to me, but not many come up, but i'm really worried about picking the right corrado engine wise, i really don't no if i should go 1.8 16v or g60. Will i b dissapointed with the 1.8 16v, and b slow, can it beat peeps at lights(not that thats the only reason im gettin it but u no wot i mean), like judged against other cars is it good and better then some 1.6L+ car. then the g60 is fast im sure but does the petrol just go and i'd hav 2 keep filling it up all the time. hmmmm i just don't no which 1, they shudda made 1 corrado then it wudda bin easy. If sum1 could tell me how the 1.8 16v compares with other cars and if its good. i've only got a 1.4 polo so im sure it wud b quick but sum assurance would go down great. ta
  5. o thats a shame because products like the itrip and belkins are not as good as a cable, any1 no of any stereo's which hav the left right inputs. ta
  6. hmmm i c, i'll look further into this. cheers
  7. the cable ure talking bout, is it just a headphone jack, 1 end with a right a left plug on the other end, the types u use with stereo's n stuff. Do most car stereo's hav the left and right socket on em. cheers
  8. so u hav 2 get a propa corrado 1 then, not just any one
  9. ok so if i'm lucky 2 find 1 with it thats cool, but if i don't can it be added, rough price and effects on car. cheers
  10. Hi With the current temp being pretty hot and driving in it being horrible, i wondered what Corrado's come with AIR CON and if they don't can you put it in. cheers
  11. thats another good thing about the belkin tunecast II, sound quality is great on all volumes u need stereo up a few notches more then normal use
  12. cymru-corrado - i would be intersted to know how much insurance cost you and where u got it from as im a similar age, 20 in october it does seem a nice corrado but was lookin for sumfin a little less modified. yalan u want a str8 swap then, my polo for yours, you know you want to. when will the pics be up yalan
  13. well i've been in friends cars with tape adaptors and again, the belkin tunecast II is far better, if you dont use the ipod's power, u just use 2 AAA battarys or the cig lighter. and of course even with an ipod u dont hav 2 use the ipod lead, just battarys or cig lighter. its the top dog for £30ish if u ask me. i like it a lot. its really easy to use, every station between 87-106 so easy to find a gud reception. its beast o and if any1 wants to no a good mp3 player, i have a iriver hp140 40gb, a great music jukebox in your car.
  14. hi, my brother has the griffin itrip and i really don't rate the quality, u loose the real sound, sounds muffled, i shopped around a bit for another fm transmitter read a lot of reviews and i bought the belkin tunecast II. its far better quality and can b used with ipods and all other players, so i really do recomend it if you want to try another, i tip there are two models one is white and the other is gray which has a ciggarette lighter fitting, although the white one comes with a small ac lead that works with 1 model of ipod, but rechargable batterys do a very good job. check it out. hank
  15. now that i've started lookin in every drive and at every parked car u start 2 see corrado's, its crazy,no little for sale signs yet though.
  16. yer i think the 1.8 16v is the one really for me anyway, not got 2 much cash so probly the right choice. wot sort of mpg u get on 1.8 16v
  17. hmmm well all depends if i get a job soon, just finishing my college diploma, so when i get full time job may even be able to get g60 or vr6. yer i guess theres no point doing any major work if u are gonna upgrade later, but i dont think i would be unhappy with a 1.8 16v hmmm such a big decision
  18. how much does it cost to get a corrado resprayed roughly
  19. Well not really into the golfs as much, i like em a lot but i love the look of the corrado and how rare it is and they just look propa beast. think i've made my mind up and its going to be a 16v 1.8 i get. and the 1.8 16v parts r easy to get and are cheapish? blackcat i'm considering your corrado, it all looks good, i'll let u know thanks
  20. thanks for that blackcat. any more details on recent services and engine info. do all the electrics work. what do you guys think of it. thanks
  21. yer i've always paid in one lump sum so should be ok. so the 1.8 16v is still a good car then, just not as fast as the g60 and vr6. thanks
  22. ok thanks i reckon i can easy afford that kinda price, just hope i find one now, could get a lot of that with my polo. you no any sites that show the mpg of corrado's. one thing is im real worried bout gettin some insurance, hope its not to much, if it is mite hav to hang on to polo for another year.
