  1. my ears are burning :) was good seeing you yesterday mate, and chatting :) hope you managed to get home ok! It cost me 2 kidneys, and a leg... seriously though, I could have gone away for a weekend with the price i paid... possibly a bit of ebay premium added on top of a common issue with corrados of this age :) here's the link! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROOF-MOULDINGS-RUBBER-STRIPS-VW-CORRADO-VR6-16V-G60-/390319461334?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5ae0da53d6
  2. Thanks - i'll await an update, only use safari on my mac / iphone and ipad :)
  3. they do look well mate, shame they are 17" always find that I dont like the handling of them though :(
  4. How much you after mate? Do they come with centre caps? Cheers Pete
  5. I paid 500 for the set on my golf, with yoke tyres... Depends what's about really if come with tyres or not...
  6. Replying to a pm works... Quick reply / advanced editor etc.. It's just on forum threads.
  7. Well, my Brock b2's going tonight! :( so got 500 to spend on something new! Not sure what go for... I don't want run spacers, have stretched tyres, I like the motorsport look, and like the handling of 15"/16" wheels.. I loved my compomotive mo's my mk2 golf had on.. Gutted I sold them.... So, what's available? Cheers, pete
  8. Tried all 3 editor types, although I've always used the basic editor. Even the buttons on the quick reply don't work. It just produces the error I've previously attached. I can't even switch to the editor though :-)
  9. Must be a bug in the forum software, as if you enable developer console from settings > safari, you will get a JavaScript error when clicking that button.
  10. As I thought. The website produces a java error. One for Andi to fix :)
  11. I'll enable developer mode see if it displays any site errors!
  12. 4.3.3 I'm on so bang Upto date. I'll try clearing my cache, though this was the first site i visited since buying it :-)
  13. Just picked up an iPad 2. I'm not able to post / reply on the 'full desktop' theme. The submit new thread, go advanced, preview post buttons etc.. Do not work. Can you please resolve? I don't intend on using tapatalk on here or the mobile theme. Cheers Pete
  14. Ok mate I'll take it. Please PM payment details :)
  15. Scan with engine running, doesnt hurt to give cam position sensor and ISV valve if your having stalling issues.
  16. Sorry, 50bhp increase on standard factory figures :-)
  17. Chris knot allow Upto 50bhp on their policies for VR6OC, however what they state changes with the weather!
  18. Don't get me wrong. I'd never want to sell the corrado. Defo ate investment for the future once I've finished rebuilding it! It just needs more investment of my time and money to get it to the standard I want it.. As you can see from my attached pics, I like my cars to look clean and go like stink :-) Don't want to put people off buying one, they practically are a classic car now IMO, and as such you'd expect things like this to happen, afterall it has been on the road since 1994 :-) Love it to bits, just gotta keep on at it!! Pete
  19. Had this using VCDS genuine Ross-tech cable while talking to my ABS ECU, used a slightly older ver of vag com and worked fine! :)
  20. Cool. Can you PM me payment details please?
  21. Do you have a pic matey? :) will almost certainly have it off you!
  22. Don't get me wrong, I love my corrado and Ive not really driven it yet! But what is it with corrodo's? There's no such thing as a simple job though, no matter what job ive attempted, it always results In a marathon of a job, or parts break snap or disappear into air! Here's a few examples; Removing sunroof motor (which was not working) I ended up ripping the trim. Doing heater matrix broke heater controls Replacing something as simple as my the radiator brackets for shiney ones, seems the mounts are knackered now it's going to be a dremel job to remove the existing bolts! Removed head lights, clips snapped rear screws rotted away! New lights needed! Then as I closed the bonnet the cable had stretched and wouldn't open again! Every price of trim I removed for other general bits snap / break etc.. Went to fit goodridge hoses, ended up needing 3 new lines... And now fuse 21 keeps blowing! At least my spoiler works, but I live in fear of that stopping working at any time! I sometimes feel a bit deflated with it all as I've not actually driven the bloody thing yet! Seems like every job I do results in either other things needing fixing or additional parts required! One day im hoping once these jobs are done, it will all be ok, or at least that's what I'm convincing myself... Having owned mk3 golf vr6, mk3 VR6 the build quality of a corrado is not very good in comparison... And I wouldn't change this for anything!! Happy fixing! Pete
