Hi Guys, Firstly my good news for the day is that I fitted an uprated headlight loom this evening and WOW what a difference, my other corrados have already had it done so I could not believe how bad the standard lights are when I picked this one up. The car in question is a 2.0 16v with full SH and 80k miles. Right now to my problem, I have had VWs that have had worn syncros that crunch when going up the gears at high revs but my one crunches going from 4th to 3rd at reasonably high revs and I have never encountered this before. I can slam it into 3rd when going up the gears and its fine. I have not changed the gear box oil yet so will do that soon as it made a big difference on my last C. So what does everyone think could be the cause of my problem? Syncro, linkages, clutch? Also while I've got your attention I cleaned my throttle body the other day and since then its been hunting quite badly mainly when cold, I've checked I put the vacuum hoses I disconnected when taking the tb off back on correctly and they look fine. Any ideas would really be appreciated? If not I'll bug my michanic next week when he fits my cambelt kit but I would like to sort these problems myself. Thanks in advance.

Hi People, I've spent a good number of hours stripping and polishing my design 90's but have decided the cost of sand paper, paint stripper, polishing kits that are supposed to do 4 wheels but in reality only do one wheel is going to really mount up so I may as well pay for a pro to do a proper job. I live near Guildford in Surrey can someone please recommend a good wheel polishing company locally to me? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, i ve been looking at getting a g60 91reg 250,000 miles 1 lady owner from new full service history. Was all set to buy it but she cant decide how much its worth, at first she was saying about £750, but some someone has been telling her its worth at least £3000 and thats theres only 15 for sale in the whole country. How much do you guys think its worth, it does need the charger re-built, two new tyres and a new back box. Any help would be wicked as i dont know enough myself so dont know what i should offer. ok well think ill have to do a bit more research, and take it for a drive and inspect all the service history closely. Just out of interest how much does it cost to get the supercharger re-built, because i think thats the only thing that will need doing quite soon. Cheers.
