Was number 32 :) The owner was a really nice chap and happy to chat about the car all evening. It sounds like its had some tweaks done to it in its life.. he didn't know a huge amount about the G60 but it had some uprated Bahn Brenner charger on it and sounded a bit more grunty than usual... he says documentation in his folder shows it has having been RR'd at 299BHP! I think being 4WD it didn't "feel" that quick but it did quite a lot quicker than a standard Corrado VR. Bit of shame if it doesnt have the G on it anymore. :(

Quick question re above. Got my wheels refurbed and need one new tyre on rear, the other rear is a 235*40 so was going to put same on the other side, thing is tyre place is saying there are 235*40 on the front as well and is suggesting I put 2 x 255*40 on the rear as you cant have the 235*40 all round. Any advise welcome, obvioulsy dont want to spend cash when I dont need to? This is for M3 as I sold my Rado. Cheers Matt

Nathan, you clean Tim's silver GT2 and his GT3 RS dont you. Was talking to my mate who works for Tim and he mentioned your firm name which I recognised. Small world.

Wire for battery light on dash, if this wire is not connecte
pkripper replied to pkripper's topic in Engine Bay
So is it possible that the blue wire was disconnected by the garage when fitting the starter which in turn prevented the alternator working which in turn caused the car to break down and then towed back to the garage to a have an alternator fitted that the car does nto need because if they connect the wire after fitting the alternator I will never know?? bit of mouthful there. -

This is my point, I dont want to fit a new alternator when it is the battery light on the dash causing the problem. Anyone else? Cheers -
will this prevent the alternater charging the battery. I had a new starter motor fitted on Saturday and broke down with a failure of the alternator, but I found this loose blue wire in the starter motor loom that the recovery guy said was the battery light on the dash. Any help much appreciated. Matt

If you are buying any car of that age be prepared to spend every month it might be a fiver or maybe more. On the plus side your choice of style over ordinary will pay dividends in many many ways.

You can put them on the front visor, I am not sure on legalities, but I have seen this many times.

Have you got any pics of your car on those ACT rims Paul?

Check the KW variant range from Gwerks. They will do a deal on the price as well. http://www.g-werks.com/Site/Default.asp ... pension_KW

Your local bodyshop can do it, either roll or trim and reseal, £50 a corner approx.

Mine came with a Panasonic tape unit that I still have in the loft. The whole thing pulled out for security.
