Hi,i've been lookin for a secondhand stainless system for my 95 2ltr 8v for ages now but theres never any for sale.I only ever see vr6 ones!!. Would this be ok to put on my car or are they different? My mot is in 3wks an i don't want to buy a new one for £350.

Update. Just incase it happens to you,I sprayed wd40 using the straw between the door and the rear quarter panel all over the lock(completely drenched it)left it for a few minutes a it opened haha... wd40 is great! Cheers for help

Hi guys,i'm having trouble getting a cone k+n filter for my 95 2ltr 8v C.Nowhere I've tried can get them so i was wondering, is my engine a golf gti engine and if it is,which one i.e mk2 or 3 an' would it fit ok or are there problems doing this?

Yeh that could well be it mate.You don't know what he did do you? What i mean is, did he replace anything or just repair it?

Hi guys,My passenger door is closed an the pin won't rise so the lock won't release the handle.This happened at xmas there, so I bought new handle repairs off dave16v. I was about to replace them when it started working again so i didn't bother. It seems to be the same thing as before.If i turn the key in the door it tries to go up and i can even hold it 2/3s up if i pull on it at the same time.Local vag said it's 3wks before they can look at it!! Has anyone ever had this prob.(girlfriend is wreckin seat!!) please help

Ebay have none.GSF say they can't get one.local motor factors can only get 2ltr 16v or 1.8 16v.Are these different?Startin to get p*ssed off!!

I live in Northern ireland which makes things awkward!! Where did you get your stainless one from or could you recommend anywhere? My MOTs on 06 Jan. I thought the pipe was just loose but it's knackered.Cheers phil

Hi guys,my 95 2ltr 8v needs a middle box and a link pipe. the fella at kwik-fit said they can't get me one but a 2ltr golf one would do.Is he right? He didn't seem to sure and i don't know...can anyone help?

I just priced a new mirror from vw... £162!!!!! It comes in factory black whatever that is,so it probably needs painted too.Thats dear init? Bought 2 on ebay for 31 quid inc.p+p. Ebay's good for stuff.!!!

Theres something very nice about yellow Cs.Like white ones,maybe they show the lines more clearly? I don't like these two colours on cars generaly but it works on corrados.
