Very strange - just gave it a good half hour blat - no leaks coming from that area now. Fook knows. :?:

Ah yeah, fuel filter sounds about right. It's not leaking at all now though. Must have been a pressure build up with the recent weather. Need to drive it tonight though :?
-
Just fired up the car after sitting on the drive for a week and noticed fuel was running from a black cylinder (looks like a pump with a black pipe running out of it) in front of the fuel tank and o/s wheel. Anyway it leaked for 2 mins , then stopped. Could it be a build up of pressure from the intense heat we've had, and just ejected some on start up? Should I be driving it?

I agree- I have always thought a 350z would be the modern day Corrado- if not in black and white terms like drivetrain, then definitely in rarity, sound and looks (particularly 'stance'). Plus I am not sure 600cc makes any difference in that in 1993 2900cc would sound just as ludicrous as 3500cc today. Its certainly not a laughable comparison- I am pretty sure anyone who bought a Corrado new would also be pretty sure they had a 'sportscar'- VR's must have seriously whooped ass in the early '90's. Well said.

Corrado Storm... available in more than a VR6?!?!

I think you're getting confused with the number of standard VR autos sold in the UK. There were some figures in a thread a fair few months back that showed only 50 vr6 autos were sold in the UK. This was questioned by alot of people cos it does sound very low. but i say again....only 10 of each Storms were produced. Says in CCGB and in the buying guide and everywhere else I've read! -
They did a Calibra turbo didn't they...quite quick I think....even so, can't seem to be even slightly interested in them. They're too big aswell...almost similar in siz to the Monaro!?

Def 10 of each. -
what, since Conleycrew was booted off!

The down-pour I experienced in Kenya was pretty spectacular! You can see it coming towards you like a wall, and travelling along the sea making the surface of the sea look rough. And when it hits you, you're soaked to the bone in seconds...but it's warm (no i didn't p*ss myself), it really was warm rain! That's how it should be :)

The badge was put on that car to supposedly wind up Storm owners...for some strange reason. -
I recognise that box in the boot! Looking forward to seeing the 'after' pics with new paint and lights!

Well apparently when she went on holiday with some bloke, the people next to them in their accommodation complained that she was being too loud!....if you know what I mean!! Good girl! I've thought hard about order of preference, but it goes something like this 1. Cheryl....Ashley Cole knows what he's doing! 2. Sarah 3. Nadine 4. Kimberley 5. Nicola Maybe after Sarah's enthusiasm over fast cars, she should be promoted to top spot!! :D

Nor did any of us, but it's a bonus when it's kind to us during the occasional leisurely cruise.

As Trig mentioned in his thread, taking roundabouts in 5th is always a good one! double-6s - lol, I wish I could use it more on that journey...most of the road to Oxford is a 50, it's busy, and there's about 4 cameras along it! Good for the wallet though! madscientist - you sure you didn't cheat and reset the trip whilst cruising down a hill?!! might have to do a calculation to see if I'm over-reading just out of interest.

Had a cruise over to Oxford (about a 40 minute journey) today at a steady 60mph with the odd burst to 80mph on the dual carriageway parts...looked at the MFA when I parked up and it was 36.5mpg!! Was really chuffed! Looking at the trip, I'm averaging 29.8mpg over a 1300 mile period. These 1300 miles are a balance of several longish trips and the rest being round town trips to the gym...even includes a few spirited sessions in there!! Don't think it was ever this good before the remap. So all in all it's pretty impressive stuff IMO for an 11 year old 2.9 lump to produce that sort of economy :D What's everyone elses economy like? Are these figures I'm seeing about average? What are your trips showing?
