Starts and then stops after a second! (1993 2.0 16v)

Its a 2.0l 16v 1993. That did cross my mind. Any simple tests? -
After the first hard frost of the year last night (it should be noted that i live in inverness so it was quite cold) my corrado wont run. It did start and ran for about ten seconds then cut out. Now it wil fire and run for about one seond the cut out. I think the choke may be stuck on. Any one got previous experiance or even some basik info on the workings of the choke please?

What Engine is in the 16v 2.0l in terms of the VR6 being AAA?

My ABS light has just come on after i started my car one morning. All the pads and disks are ok and the conections to the sensors seem fine. At the same time the rear window demister stuck on and although i doubt the two are related thought it was worth mentioning. Any one got a simple fix or is it going to be the garage? Cheers Adam

im 21 with 1 ncd and i am paying £1000 with admiral but like the guy said above best bet is to go on-line and try confused.com!!

cheers. just bought the car and not got any mauals yet so i take it the are obviously positioned. never get to see the thing in the light which is not too helpful.

My oil light keeps coming on and i cant figure out why. I have checked the level and it doesn't appear to be loosing oil. The only things i could think of were that the sensor is faulty or that it is loosing oil into the water system but that also seems clear. Any one know anything obvious i am missing?
