I just got my big box of hood release parts from the dealership... Cost me $130 for the lot... As soon as the engine cools off a bit ((still healing from the 2nd degree burns from the last time I was out there)) I'll be out putting them in. I've read a few writeups on the matter, but they all revolve around the old cable still being there to find the hole for the new. The previous owner took all that stuff out so I'm a bit lost as to how to actually find the hole... anyone got any tips? If not, I'm sure I'll find it eventually. And I'll be sure and take lots of pics and write a How-To for the Wiki.

Just out lookin' at it, and realized that it's not just the brake lights and fog lights that are linked together, there seems to be a short in the circuit somewhere that's causing the brake lights to come on with the tail lights period... Maybe the previous owner triedto hook up the rear brake lights and messed up along the way? Any thoughts of what eles to check for?

My bad... I think I was a bit drunk when I posted it, I'm sorry... Good to know the window thing is normal, I kinda like it that way. IIRC the brake and fog lights are on the same fuse which might be a little be causeing some of the 2)... I dunno, not really an issue tho.

I just got my C ((93 SLC)) saturday, and I'm starting to notice all the strange little things it does... Couple things I was just wondering if it's normal... 1) The windows won't operate at the same time, not mad about it, it's just wierd. 2) The foglights come on with the brakes, but only if the switch is turned on. I knew there was a couple more, but can't think of 'em right now... Any thoughts?
