  1. Yes there was a knife involved. Any ideas why it could be pulling to the left and sitting higher on one side ???
  2. PS. It does ride better though!!
  3. Ok guys, the bumpstops have been cut by 40mm on the back which gives about 3mm bumpstop clearance on one side and is just bang on the other. BUT! The side with 3mm clearance is sitting slightly lower than the otherside. AND GUESS WHAT? The car now pulls to the left. Doh! Which is the side that sits higher. Any ideas ????? Ah the joys of modding.
  4. Ah yes but which ones for a mark IV golf? Which model? I may only do the rears for now!
  5. Hi Guys I'm having my bumpstops cut tomorrow and just want to double check the amounts to remove again. From reading the forum (cheers supercharged) I gather that 30-40mm off the back is good. But I can't find the amount for the front ones. I'm guessing to chop off the top rib but would like to hear what others have done?? :) Looking forward to any advice! Tallyho
  6. Do all Corrados ride at the same height as standard? Does it vary from model to model? If so, what are the different heights? Cheers
  7. Cheeers Trigs It's a bit pimp daddy eh!!
  8. Thanks guys! Does anyone have pics of a Campaign then?
  9. Could someone please tell what makes a Campaign different to a Storm? Excues my ignorance! Oh yeah and what is lol?? Ta.

    BUMP STOPS???

Supercharged Thanks for the quick response! You're a diamond geeza. I'm off to try and talk sense into the frogs

    BUMP STOPS???

That's sound good! So just to double check! They need to take 40mm off the top of the rears and the fronts don't really need it? Or do they??

    BUMP STOPS???

Cheesr! Unfortunately, the suspension kit has already been fitted by the garage. Is it reasonable to ask them to re-do it.??? Surely they should have done this automatically. The rear of the car rides rather firm and bouncy and I suspect that it is due to the original length bumpstops! I am in France so it's quite hard talking technical in froggy!

    BUMP STOPS???

When fitting a lowering suspension kit, what is the reason for chopping the bump stops down?? If you lower the car by 40mm, how much do you need to chop off OE bump stops. Should special ones be fitted? Thanx!
  14. Sounds a bit pricey but they are pukka rims mate. Has transformed your car IMO. worth every penny for that.
