Its cold out there, I will summon up entusiasm and try running a hose through radiator

Have a problem, just replaced a coolant hose topped up water but appear to have an air block, or that's what I orginally thought but been working at it hours now.. Symptoms are car heaters stopped working, when I got them working bottom hose on radiator stays cold, with lid off expansion tank water is permanantly bubbling over, when I put lid on coolant pipes get real pressurised but bottom pipes staying cold. Temp light flashes permanently even though at correct level. I'm thinking thermostat but it was replaced last month, Ive done all the usual stuff, refilled via top hose, etc etc, any ideas please?

Hi, today I broke the plastic part on my alternator (Don't ask) that holds the brushes and need a complete replacement part. The local parts shop require a number and all I can read is 11????28 as the other numbers have worn off, can anyone help with this please

I'd happily swap my 17's for a set of BBS 15's

I had a 16v and went from the 15" - 17" what a mistake, accelerated slower and engine did not have enough grunt to pull top end, struggled to get over 120mph. My friend had a 16v Jetta, before we would race and we were side by side, afterwards he definitely had the edge. What do they say, "Big wheels for show little wheels for go"

looks like I have broken the plastic rod that controls the microswitch that the lock touches when it rotates DOH

HI I hope some of you may be interested recently I set up a website http://www.easygeezer.co.uk specialising in G60 bits and pieces, very early days so hope it to grow and maybe look a bit more proffessional as and when time permits

Hi, the drivers side door and ignition were on different keys so I took the barrel of drivers door inserted ignition key and cut off the bits that stuck out, I now have a problem in that central door locking does not work anymore, it must be something that I have put together wrong in the handle, what works it from the handle, I can see where the wires go in but there are no moving parts going to this area ? I,m guessing I have lost something, just to confirm if I jump the wires in the door panel it all works ok so it is definitely a handle problem.. Ps if I don't get it sorted Mrs is gonna kill me :D

Hi recently fitted new chip and pulley from G-werks and now have the following problem: Have noticed since changing chip and pulley that when I am giving it some, say 6000 rpm in third then back off the accelerator it gives a violent jolt as if you had stabbed pedal, let off then stabbed again before decelerating as it should. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar probs or has any ideas what it may be? Before anyone says, Darren from G-werks is on the case but I thought it was worth asking you guys too :)
