  1. Greetings to all who bother to take a look at this topic. I've recently become the proud owner of a Black VR6 in great condition. A few teething problems of late, but nothing a diagnostic machine won't take care of I'm sure. But here's the deal, I live in Glasgow and I want to restore this beautiful machine to her former glory. As everyone knows, time and wear will reduce bhp, performance and fuel efficiency. I just want to know if anyone could give me the name/address of any decent tuning garage in my vacinity (preferably with a rolling road) that could help me tighten up the bolts and generally raise the level of her game. As usual, all advice and information is greatly appreciated and all who post have my thanks.
  2. Actually I heard that before about the crank sensor, duely noted dr_mat. I'd actually forgotten about it, thanks for refreshing my memory.
  3. Thanks Dude, I hope so too. I've booked it into my mate's garage on Tuesday, he'll do a bit of fault finding and I'll pass on the info about the ECU & Fuel Pump relays. Thanks for the information.
  4. The engine in my Corrado has just started giving me a few problems. It will just stall while driving (even on the motorway), and I'll have to pull over to the side of the road before I can restart. To beging with I thought it was the immobiliser, because I kept having to switch the alarm on and off, then restart. But lately I can pull over, and restart. Tonight, I got home (after it cutting out 3 times) and while sitting in the driveway, the engine was almost coughing. Running really rough. I had a check under the bonnet and there's definatly somethin up with the engine. After about a minute, it died altogether. Can someone please help me!? Any and all help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Small cry out to the people in the know. I recently fitted a new sound system to my Corrado. Sony all around. However, when I change out the passanger side dash speaker from the stock one to the Sony, it doesn't work. I swapped the speakers, incase the Sony was bust, but it plays in the driver's side and the rear deck. Any ideas on what could be causing this??? Any and all help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
