Just tape them off. Don't join them together - that could kill your ECU.

You could also go with the good 'ol aluminum dryer duct. Cheap, light, and when glued in place, it works great.

Yes, very effective - IF it has good airflow (natural or forced). Besides in front of the tires in the fender wells (which I don't care for), I couldn't find any clean air for the C, so I mounted it here with a fan and duct from below: Bryan
